摘要: A method includes: scheduling a job submitted by a user to be executed on at least a portion of a computing infrastructure; determining a level of sanity check to be performed on the job; performing the sanity check on the job while waiting for the job to be executed; when the sanity check shows that the job will not successfully execute, estimating at least one time required to repair the job such that the job will successfully execute; finding whether the estimated time to repair the job exceeds an estimated time remaining before the job is scheduled to be executed; and when the estimated time to repair the job is found to exceed the estimated time remaining before the job is scheduled to be executed, rescheduling the job such that the estimated time remaining before the job is scheduled to be executed exceeds the estimated time to repair the job.

摘要: Certain embodiments described herein are generally directed to determining efficient update schedules for logical networks based on a graph representing the priority of features supported by the network, and a graph representing the priority of logical entities within the logical network. By building a graph of the logical network using directed edges to represent the update priority of one logical entity over another, an ordering, or a set of possible orderings, may be obtained. A topological sort of the graph may obtain such an ordering. Alternative orderings may indicate opportunities for parallel updating, which may result in a more efficient process for updating the logical network.

摘要: A system and method for implementing functionality within a network on behalf of first and second devices communicating with each other through the network. A front-end device is provided within the network that communicates data traffic with the first device. A back-end device is also implemented within the network and communicates data traffic with the second device. A communication channel couples the front-end device and the back-end device. Data traffic may be encoded into a different type or protocol for transport through the communication channel by the front-end device and back-end device. The front-end device and back-end device exchange quality of service information and may alter characteristics of the data traffic through the communication channel according to the quality of service information.

摘要: Provided are methods and systems for distributing application traffic. A method for distributing application traffic may commence with relaying a first service request for a first service session from a service gateway to a server. The first service request may be received from a host and may be associated with a service request time. The method may further include receiving, from the server, a service response. The service response may be associated with a service response time. The method may continue with calculating a service processing time based on the service request time and the service response time and comparing the service processing time with an expected service processing time. The method may further include receiving, from the host, a second service request for a second service session. The method may continue with selectively relaying the second server request to the server based on the service processing time.

摘要: Various communication systems may benefit from improved quality of service treatment in the access networks. For example, certain communication systems may benefit from a dynamic varying of the quality of service level of a data flow. A method may include detecting a requested quality of service level requirement at a new data flow or an existing data flow at a network entity. The method may also include retrieving from a table a needed parameter linked to the requested quality of service level. In addition, the method can include using the needed parameter to create a new processing instance or to update an existing processing instance at the network entity. A method may further include updating the content of the table through separate signaling.

摘要: A license manager includes a processor and non-transitory computer readable media having encoded thereon a set of instructions executable by the at least one processor to receive a request, from a virtual machine, to reserve an individual license of the set of authorized licenses for a vendor software instance, determine the availability licenses for the requested vendor software, register a unique identifier of the virtual machine in association with an available individual license, grant the individual license to the virtual machine, and prevent the granted individual license from concurrent use by other virtual machines or devices.

摘要: A data aggregator includes a traffic characterization module, a rate estimator, a data regulator, and a sensor data transmission interface. The traffic characterization module is operable to generate a predicted quality of service for a plurality of sensors having one or more data rates and a plurality of priorities. The rate estimator is operable to generate a plurality of required data rates to maintain a target quality of service for one or more data consumers of an avionic communication network based on the predicted quality of service. The data regulator is operable to hold and release a plurality of sensor data from the sensors in one or more queues at the required data rates as a regulated data flow. The sensor data transmission interface is operable transmit the regulated data flow to the one or more data consumers.

摘要: Containerized high-performance network storage is disclosed. For example, first and second memories are associated with first and second hosts and separated by a network. A storage controller and a container scheduler execute on processors. The container scheduler instantiates first and second storage containers on the respective first and second hosts. The storage controller configures the first and second storage containers as first and second storage nodes of a distributed file system. The container scheduler instantiates a service container on the first host. The storage controller receives a persistent volume claim associated with the service container and then creates a persistent storage volume in the first storage node based on the persistent volume claim. The persistent storage volume is mapped to the service container, where a content of the persistent storage volume is replicated to the second storage node.

摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for during a first time period, identifying first digital components for presentation when an electronic document is presented at the client device; generating, using priority indicators assigned to each first digital component, a digital component priority queue that specifies an order of presentation of the first digital components; transmitting, to the client device, the electronic document, the first digital components, and the digital component priority queue; during a second time period that occurs after the first time period, identifying a second digital component for presentation when the electronic document is presented at the client device; and updating the digital component priority queue at the client device, including causing the second digital component to be inserted into the digital component priority queue based on a priority indicator assigned to the second digital component.
