The invention concerns a friction clutch comprising a reaction plate, a friction disk, bearing at its external periphery friction linings, a pressure plate (1), a cover (2) fixed on the reaction plate, elastic means operating axially (3) between the cover and the pressure plate (1) through support means (14), a wear take-up device including ramp means (11) axially set between the support means (14) and the pressure plate (1), said ramps (15) being adapted to co-operate with counter-ramp means (4). Said wear take-up device further comprises a toothing (18) with which a worm (13) co-operates, the counter-ramp means (4) being integral with said toothing (18) and means (20) driving the worm (13) in rotation being provided, the worm (13) and the means (20) driving the worm (13) in rotation being borne by a support (12) integral with the ramp means (11).

The invention concerns a clutch friction, comprising a reaction plate (202) designed to be locked in rotation on an input shaft a friction disk (200), bearing at its external periphery at least one friction lining (201), designed to be locked in rotation on an output shaft, a pressure plate (1), a cover (2) fixed on the reaction plate (202), clutch means with axial action (3) controlled by releasing means and which operate between the cover (2) and the pressure plate (1) via support means (14), the pressure plate (1) being interlocked in rotation with the cover (2) while being capable of moving axially relative thereto and subjected to the action of elastic return means returning the pressure plate (1) axially towards the cover (2). Said friction clutch further comprises a wear take-up device, one of the supports of the clutch means (3) being capable of being axially offset the wear take-up device further comprises means, called diverging means, adapted to modify rapidly, for a predetermined degree of wear of the friction lining (201), the position of the elements controlling the releasing means.

The friction clutch comprises a cover (8) with a base (80), a pressure plate (3) with a front friction face (30) for co-operating with a clutch friction and, set between the pressure plate (3) and the base (80) of the cover (8), a diaphragm (2) with a peripheral part extended inward by fingers (23) to oppose at will, by means of a nose (11) of a clutch bearing (10), the action of said peripheral part (21), a booster elastic washer (7) acting on the fingers (23) of the diaphragm (2) in the declutching direction resting on the cover (8): the booster washer (7) is arranged between the cover (8) and the leading-edge piece or nose (11) such that it is adapted to operate on the fingers (23) of the diaphragm (2) via said leading-edge piece or nose (11).

The invention concerns a friction clutch in particular for motor vehicle, comprising a reaction plate (202), a friction disk (200), bearing friction linings (201), a pressure plate (1), a cover (2), clutch means (3) controlled by disengaging means and operating between the cover (2) and the pressure plate (1) through support means (14), a wear take-up device, one of the intermediate support means being capable of being axially offset and the wear take-up device comprising compensating means, actuated by actuating means, to produce said offsetting, controlled by triggering means combined with detecting means, sensitive to wear, operating on one at least of the actuating means, compensating means and triggering means: the wear take-up device also comprises means, called disconnecting means, making it inoperative before the linings are completely worn, adapted to act on the compensating means or the actuating means or the triggering means or the detecting means.
