摘要: A method for controlling a heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) system having an air vent associated with a window for blowing an air flow of controlled temperature thereon; the HVAC system having a refrigeration unit with a compressor and an evaporator, and blowing means for forcing air over the evaporator to the air vent. The method includes a first step (a) of activating the compressor while deactivating the blowing means during a first period for condensing moisture of the air contained in the HVAC system. The method includes a further step (b) comprising, at the expiry of the first period, activating the blowing means and keeping the compressor active during a second period for sufficiently reducing the dew-point temperature of air blown by the HVAC system, and deactivating the compressor at the expiry of the second period.

摘要: An accumulator (24) for an air conditioning system (10) comprising a housing (26) having a first end wall (28), a second end wall (30), and a side wall (32) joining the end walls; a fluid outlet pipe (36) mounted in, and passing through, the first end wall; and a fluid inlet pipe (34) mounted in, and passing through, the first end wall; wherein the outlet pipe has an open end (38) inside the housing positioned adjacent the first end wall; and wherein the inlet pipe comprises a first section (40) and a second section (42) inside the housing, the first section being attached at one end (44) to the first end wall and being attached at the other end (46) to the second section, the second section being open at at least one end (48) with the or each open end facing a portion (50) of the side wall. Reduces the risk of liquid refrigerant fluid passing into the outlet pipe.

摘要: An air conditioning system (10) for the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle comprising a main tube (22) for fluidly connecting a compressor (12) to an outside heat exchanger (14), the outside heat exchanger to an expansion device (16), the expansion device to an inside heat exchanger (18), the inside heat exchanger to an accumulator (20), and the accumulator to the compressor; a bypass tube (28) fluidly connected to the main tube between the compressor and the outside heat exchanger and between the expansion device and the inside heat exchanger; and a valve (30) positioned in the bypass tube; wherein the valve has a closed position when refrigerant fluid flows through the main tube in a first direction (X) from the compressor through the outside heat exchanger, the expansion device, the inside heat exchanger and the accumulator back to the compressor, for cooling of the passenger compartment, and an open position when refrigerant fluid flows in the first direction and through the bypass tube and the valve for heating of the passenger compartment. Provides supplemental heating without using a calibrated expansion device.
