Abstract: The present technology is directed to apparatuses, systems, and methods for assessing absolute and relative peripheral perfusion. In various embodiments, two blood volume measurement devices measure the blood volume at a patient's extremities either simultaneously or in series. Distortions between the waveforms generated by the two blood volume measurement devices are detected, and an assessment of the patient's perfusion is determined based on the degree of distortion.
