Abstract:
A method and system for securing access to configuration information stored in universal plug and play data models are provided. The method includes receiving a request to operate on at least one node of a data model from a Control Point (CP), where the data model includes a plurality of nodes and each of the plurality of nodes represents configuration information, determining a role associated with the CP, determining whether the role of CP is in a recommended role list, allowing, if the role is present, the CP to operate on the at least one node, and determining, if the role is not present, whether the CP has a role appropriate for operating on the at least one node based on ACL data associated with the at least one node. Accordingly, the CP is allowed to operate on the at least one node or an error message is returned on a display of the CP.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting/receiving encryption information in a mobile broadcast system providing broadcast service (BCAST) are disclosed. In the mobile broadcast system, a broadcast (BCAST) Service Distribution/Adaptation (BSD/A) unit comprises a transmitter for transmitting a Registration Key Material (RKM) request message for requesting delivery of an RKM for registration of the BCAST service of a terminal to a BCAST Subscription Management (BSM) unit managing subscriber information of the terminal, and a receiver for receiving an RKM request response message from the BSM unit. The RKM request message includes an identifier (ID) of the BCAST service, and the RKM request response message includes the ID of the BCAST service and the RKM. The transmitter transmits a Long-Term Key Message (LTKM) request message for requesting delivery of an LTKM provided to the terminal during subscription of the BCAST service to the BSM unit.
Abstract:
A roaming service method in a mobile broadcasting system and a system thereof are provided. A terminal receives a service guide from a corresponding visited service provider (Visited SP) when the terminal moves to a roaming area. The terminal transmits a roaming request message for requesting a purchase item allowable for individual services to a home service provider (Home SP) based on the received service guide. Upon receipt of the roaming request message, the Home SP negotiates roaming availability and allowable scope for each individual service with the Visited SP where the terminal is located, based on the roaming request message. The Home SP transmits the roaming availability and allowable scope for the individual service, negotiated with the Visited SP, to the terminal.
Abstract:
A method, a terminal, and a server for integratedly managing Personal Health Device (PHD) standard and PHD non-standard data are provided. The terminal includes a first sensor for sensing a biological signal, and outputting PHD standard data that is in accordance with predetermined PHD standards; at least one second sensor for sensing a biological signal, and outputting PHD non-standard data that is not in accordance with the predetermined PHD standards; a controller for generating a first data field area based on the PHD standard data, generating a second data field area based on the PHD non-standard data, and then generating a transmission signal including the generated first data field area and the generated second data field area; and a communication unit for receiving the transmission signal from the controller, and transmitting the received transmission signal.
Abstract:
A method and system is provided for sharing a service guide or a service guide fragment in a mobile broadcast system supporting a mobile broadcast service. A Broadcast Service Provisioning Client Function (BSP-C) sends a request for the service guide or service guide fragment to a Broadcast Service Provisioning Management Function (BSP-M). The BSP-M transmits the service guide or service guide fragment to the BSP-C if the BSP-M has the service guide or service guide fragment.

Abstract:
A terminal apparatus is provided for receiving a broadcast service from a broadcasting system. A receiver receives a notification message from the broadcasting system. A message parser parses the notification message received by the receiver according to a certain format. A controller determines whether the received notification message is a notification message to be used by a user or a notification message to be used by the terminal based on content of the notification message parsed by the message parser, and performs an operation according to the determination result.

Abstract:
A method and apparatus for providing a personalized service in a broadcasting system, and a system thereof. A BCAST Subscription Management (BSM) sends a service creation request message to a BCAST Service Distribution/Adaptation (BSDA), the service creation request message including at least one purchase data fragment to which maximum allowed content and maximum allowed service elements are added. The BSDA creates a service guide using the purchase data fragments, and delivers it to a terminal. The terminal checks a service type in the service guide, sends a subscription request for the personalized service to the BSM, receives an encryption key associated with the personalized service, and receives the personalized service with the encryption key.
Abstract:
A method and mobile communication system for providing a user defined bundle in a terminal of a mobile broadcast system are provided. The method includes receiving a service guide from a BroadCAST (BCAST) Service Distribution/Adaptation (BSDA), creating a user defined bundle based on a content or a service desired by a user, including the user defined bundle in a user defined bundle subscription request message and transmitting the user defined bundle subscription request message to a BCAST Subscription Management (BSM), and receiving from the BSM a user defined bundle subscription response message in which a user defined bundle subscription and a purchase complete message is included.
