摘要： A method for automatically determining a field of view for performing a subsequent medical imaging study includes acquiring one or more preliminary images. A body mask is generated by thresholding the preliminary images and identifying a largest connected component. A boundary mask is obtained from the boundary of the generated body mask. A rectangular bounding box is fit to the obtained boundary mask. The rectangular bounding box is used as a field of view for performing a subsequent medical imaging study.

摘要： In a method and apparatus for contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance (MR) angiography of the right coronary artery of a patient, a bolus of MR contrast agent is selected to have a size that will cause the bolus, after injection into the patient, to wash out of right coronary chambers of the heart while still enhancing MR signals from the right coronary artery. The bolus of MR contrast agent is injected into the patient, and MR signals are generated in, and MR signals are obtained from, the patient in a time window after the bolus has washed out of the right coronary chambers and still enhances MR signals in the right coronary artery. An MR image of the right coronary artery is generated using only the MR signals obtained in the time window.

摘要： In a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) method, in the form of an MRI pulse sequence, and an apparatus for acquiring MRI data from an object, a contrast preparation module is applied to the object for preparing a contrast in the magnetization of nuclear spins of the object, and an imaging module is applied to the object after the contrast preparation module for acquisition of magnetic resonance image data reflecting the prepared contrast. The contrast preparation module includes a train of radio-frequency pulses with the same flip angle magnitude α, the respective signs of the flip angles alternating from radio-frequency pulse to radio-frequency pulse.
