    摘要: A visualization system and method for visualization of network data, which is data that represents elements and links between elements. The network data is converted into a data structure, which represents a grid arrangement of the elements, where each element is placed on an individual grid position of a lattice. The data structure is suitable for use by a graphics display. The visualization tool comprises a processing unit that generates an initial data structure which represents an initial grid arrangement of the elements. It then assigns a global value to this initial grid arrangement and employs a gradient method for converting the initial grid arrangement into another grid arrangement which has a decreased or an increased global value.

    摘要: A method is disclosed for searching for text passages in text documents. The method uses computerized prediction-based and ontology-based semantic language processing. Both the text passages that are to be located, as well as the text of the documents that are searched, are transformed on the basis of surface-syntactic and deep-syntactic information to generate a semantic network structure. The semantic network structure is linguistically processed based on information about other parts of the semantic network structure in order to improve the accuracy of the semantic network structure. Nodes in the semantic network structure are classified by linking the nodes in the semantic network structure to nodes in a pre-existing ontological network structure representing concepts in a language.

    摘要: A method for speech recognition can include generating a context-enhanced database from a system input. A voice-generated output can be generated from a speech signal by performing a speech recognition task to convert the speech signal into computer-processable segments. During the speech recognition task, the context-enhanced database can be accessed to improve the speech recognition rate. Accordingly, the speech signal can be interpreted with respect to words included within the context-enhanced database. Additionally, a user can edit or correct an output in order to generate the final voice-generated output which can be made available.
