摘要： Disclosed herein is a recording apparatus including a control device which controls a transportation of a medium by controlling a feeding device and a transporting device; under the control of the control device, the feeding device is stopped or decelerated when a previous medium is transported to a predetermined position, and a next medium is accelerated by the feeding device so as to continuously transport the previous medium and the next medium when a gap between those becomes a predetermined distance, the speed of the transporting device is changed from a first transporting speed to a second transporting speed when the previous medium passes through the predetermined position, under a condition that the first transporting speed of the previous medium is different from the second transporting speed of the next medium by the feeding device.

摘要： A recording apparatus includes a transporting unit which transports a recording medium and a recording unit which records data (e.g., prints) on the recording medium. A control unit controls the recording unit and the transporting unit. A detection unit detects a back end of the recording medium at a more upstream side of a transporting path than the recording position of the recording unit. A first judgment unit determines whether a scheduled recording is possible when the recording medium, while being transported, reaches a position where the recording should be performed when the detection unit detects the back end of the recording medium. A second judgment unit determines whether a portion of the scheduled recording to the recording medium is possible when the recording medium is transported to the position where the recording should be performed.

摘要： In a feeding course, a first design side end position Xsn of a paper is calculated. A first side end position of the paper is detected by a paper width detector, and the detected position is set to a first side end position Xd1. When the paper is fed from an additional cassette and a paper end detection flag F1=1, an ejection starting position adjustment amount ΔX=Xd1−Xsn is set. However, when the deviation amount is not |Xd1−Xsn|≦L, the ejection starting position adjustment amount ΔX is limited to a limit value L.
