    摘要: The present invention relates to a free-from surface creation method and apparatus thereof which can automatically determine such internal control points that allow a plurality of patches to form a smooth surface. Based on the four normal lines (N.sub.00, N.sub.01, N.sub.10, N.sub.11) to a quadrilateral patch A at its corners and on its four edges (E.sub.1, E.sub.2, E.sub.3, E.sub.4), reference normal lines at a plurality of points defined on each edge (E.sub.1, E.sub.2, E.sub.3, E.sub.4) are determined, and each reference normal line determined on the respective plurality of points are approximated to the normal line corresponding to the plurality of points which are defined on the edges of which are shared with the quadrilateral patch A and the adjacent patch.     摘要: An information processing device in which a data bus for establishing interconnection between a plurality of control operating units formed in a main processor is connected at one end to a graphic processor and at the other end to a main memory. Image frame data generated by the graphic processor is sequentially transferred through the data bus and stored into the main memory. The data bus satisfies R1≧R2≧R4 and R1≧R3≧R4, where R1 is the data transmission rate from the main processor to the graphic processor, R2 is the data transmission rate from the graphic processor to the main processor, R3 is the data transmission rate between the main processor and the main memory, and R4 is the rate to transmit a single image frame of data within a vertical blanking interval.

The game controller has a plurality of PWM control units which are provided inside the case and control the lighting of the plurality of LEDs, respectively. The PWM control units control the lighting of the LEDs based on a control signal from a game apparatus. The game apparatus acquires a captured image of the game controller, and acquires the position of the game controller in the captured image based on the positions of the LEDs in the captured image.

    摘要: The present invention provides a game system using LEDs in a controller 20. In a game system of the present invention, an image pickup apparatus captures the controller. The controller includes multiple input units for making an operation input to advance a game, and multiple LEDs for indicating a controller number set for the controller in a game application executed. A game apparatus accepts an operation input provided to the controller and reflects the operation input in the processing of a game application, acquires a captured image from the image pickup apparatus, acquires the position of the controller in the captured image based on the position of the LED in the captured image and reflects the acquired position information in the processing of the game application, and generates an image signal showing the result of application processing performed based on the operation input and acquired position information.

    摘要: Disclosed is a shape data processing method illustratively for use with a CAD,CAM (computed aided design/ computer aided manufacturing) system. The method involves measuring the volume of a target product based on the shape data of that product. In operation, a virtual projection surface is established for the target object to be measured. The surface of the object is divided into small regions. A column portion is formed as an extension from each small region to the projection surface. The volume of the column portion is measured for each small region. The measured volumes are accumulated in accordance with the orientation of the normal vector to each small region. This method allows the volume of the target object to be measured easily and with precision even if the shape thereof is complex.
