A print media sheets available count is received representative of a plurality of print media sheets adapted to be fed through the imaging machine.     摘要: An originator distributes a document by a network to one or more recipients. The document comprises a cover sheet including cover sheet information. The originator provides document distribution job information in the cover sheet information. The document distribution job information includes an originator information including an originator network address and, for each recipient, a recipient information including a network address. The originator provides the document to a document distributing server. The server scans the document to provide the document distribution job information. The server then distributes the document to the recipients based on the document distribution job information. Each recipient receives the document, optionally modifies any of the information contained therein, and then returns the document to the server. The document distribution job continues until all recipients receive the document and return it to the server.

    摘要: Methods and systems are employed to access and print email from a printing-capable device via a network connection to a mail server. A document surrogate represents one or more email messages. A user can indicate via the document surrogate selection of one or more emails. A multifunction device at least one of prints, scans, emails, faxes, and copies one or more documents. The multifunction device includes a scanning element that scans the document surrogate and electronically encodes information contained therein, the information is associated with at least one of the location, content, and status of the one or more email messages. The multifunction device also includes a retrieval component that retrieves the one or more emails based at least in part upon information contained in the document surrogate. A presentation component displays the one or more emails retrieved by the retrieval component, wherein the user selects one or more emails. A printing element prints the one or more emails selected.

    摘要: A N-up calculator graphical user interface (GUI) is provided for performing N-Up printing. The graphical user interface includes configurable objects for specifying: 1) the size of the page, 2) the dimensions of the image, and 3) the number of images to be printed on each page (N-up). The controls on the GUI can include page size, reduction/enlargement percentage, final image size—height/width, Number up, and other related controls. The manipulation of any one of the controls may affect the others according to a set of rules. These rules determine which objects are held constant and for which values are automatically calculated, and the object automatically configured. The rule-set can be manipulated by selecting from a list of modes or options such as “Conserve Paper,” “Fit as Many Images as Possible” or “Maximize Image size” or by locking certain controls and freeing others.
