摘要： Disclosed are embroidery hoops and methods for using same that include a receiving surface for receiving a workpiece that has a first surface corresponding to a first face of a hook and loop fastener. The receiving surface has an opening therethrough and attachment material is secured to the receiving surface at least partially about the opening. The attachment material has a surface corresponding to a complimentary face of the hook and loop fastener. Contact of the surface of the workpiece to the surface of the attachment material releasably secures a portion of the workpiece over the opening for performing an embroidery operation on the portion of the workpiece over the opening.

摘要： Needle changing devices and methods of changing needles in stitching machines are provided. The devices can include a body having a plurality of substantially parallel channels formed therein. Each channel can be configured for holding a needle. The channels can have a top end portion beginning at a top surface and a bottom end portion beginning at a bottom surface of the body. The top end portions can have a greater width than the bottom end portions and can be recessed in the channels. With a plurality of needles held in the device, the needles can be positioned and secured in a stitching machine. Once the needles are secured, the device can be moved in a direction substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the needles in the direction of the needle point, such that the needles are no longer held by the needle changing device.

摘要： Disclosed is a holder for removably securing a magnetizable golf ball marker. The holder is preferably made of a resilient material. A magnet is secured to the holder such that the magnet is flush with the outer surface of the holder. The holder includes a raised ridge appropriately shaped to mate with and properly position the marker over the magnet. The marker is removed by sliding the marker away from the magnet and over the ridge or through a gap in the ridge. To aid in sliding the marker over the ridge, a sloped portion of the holder surface within the ridge causes the marker to tilt when pressure is applied to the marker to slide the marker off the magnet. A sloped portion adjacent a gap in the ridge can also tilt the marker for ease in grasping the marker when lifting the marker off the holder.
