    Abstract: The invention relates to a handheld device (1) for infrared temperature measurement, comprising an infrared radiation detector (3) for measuring the temperature of a measuring spot (4) on an object under measurement (5), comprising an optical pickup device (2) for sensing the region containing the measuring spot (4) and comprising a display means (6) for presenting the measured temperature value.
