摘要： The present invention provides an ecological block and a method for constructing an ecological vegetation bank protection wall and an ecological vegetation retaining wall using such an ecological block. In the ecological block according to the present invention, a truncated conical projection and a corresponding groove is provided at the upper and lower parts of the block body of said ecological block respectively, a channel-shaped space (groove) in which water grasses are planted is provided at either side of the block body of said ecological block, and traveling passages for amphibious animals and insects and grooves for absorbing noise are provided at the front part of the block body of the ecological block. With the present invention as mentioned above, it is possible to preserve the ecological environment since excellent spawning and inhabitable spaces for amphibious animals and insects are provided.

摘要： A method for constructing a check dam or a fire prevention dam using a gear-type block comprises depositing a bottom mat for protecting weak ground or a mat for containing water on a prepared river bed of a river or a valley; piling a plurality of gear-type blocks such that adjacent blocks are connected together using connecting rings provided at the lateral parts of the block, and lower and upper blocks are engaged with each other by means of projections and grooves formed at the upper and lower parts of the block; and forming a block mattress on said bottom mat at upper and lower streams of the lower end of said dam structure by horizontal engagement of blocks.

摘要： The invention provides an apparatus for and a method of constructing a concrete block mat consisting of unit concrete blocks interlocked together in the form of a mat by way of connections for adjacent interlocking members of those unit concrete blocks. There are also provided an apparatus for and a method of planarizing the ground under water using the concrete block mat. The planarizing apparatus includes a configuration for maintaining those of the unit concrete blocks positioned at opposite ends of the concrete block mat to be inclined with respect to a plane of the concrete block mat in such a fashion that the concrete block mat has resistance reducing surfaces.
