Abstract:
A wireless access point search device improved in a manner of storing search results. A wireless LAN interface searches for a wireless access point. A result receiving section stores an access point information item on the wireless access point found by the wireless LAN interface. When the sum of the number of access point information items stored in the result receiving section and the number of new wireless access point items on respective new wireless access points found by the wireless LAN interface is larger than a predetermined value, a panel controller determines, whether or not to store a new access point information item on each new wireless access point in the result receiving section, based on radio field intensity of the new wireless access point.
Abstract:
A communication control apparatus which is capable of transmitting a message to a plurality of destinations by broadcasting using SIP, and also avoiding a situation in which other SIP services cannot be used. A connection request message received from a transmitting-side terminal apparatus via a network is transmitted to destinations associated with an address included in a connection request message. It is determined whether or not a predetermined designation is made as to the connection request message, and when it is determined that the predetermined designation is made as to the connection request message, response messages are received from all receiving-side terminal apparatuses which are the destinations, then a connection response message is transmitted to the transmitting-side terminal apparatus, and all the receiving-side terminal apparatuses which are the destinations and the transmitting-side terminal apparatus are connected to each other by one session.

Abstract:
An image processing system capable of executing a processing flow in a destination image processing apparatus without retransmitting the processing flow from a source image processing apparatus to the destination image processing apparatus when the version of the destination image processing apparatus is upgraded. The source image processing apparatus analyzes whether or not the processing flow is executable by the destination image processing apparatus before transmitting the processing flow, and if it is unexecutable, the source image processing apparatus performs alternate configuration of an inexecutable setting based on the analysis result. The source image processing apparatus transmits the processing flow including the alternate setting to the destination image processing apparatus. If the destination image processing apparatus fails in executing the processing flow, the destination image processing apparatus executes the processing flow based on the alternate setting included in the received processing flow.

Abstract:
A system in an environment in which WSD is realized by employing SSL includes an authentication server that stores a certificate group which permits printer creation and printing to avoid a risk of spoofing. The system uses a printer having a certificate issued by an official certificate authority. In such a case, if verification on whether the certificate of the printer is included in the certificate group of the authentication server is performed for all printers, there may be a printer which becomes unable to print, or in which the time for performing the verification becomes a waste, depending on the printer. A printer type is thus set when creating the printer, and if the printer has a certificate issued by the official certificate authority, a printer server performs certificate authority (CA) verification with respect to the certificate.
