    摘要： Disclosed herein is a washing machine having the structure to reinforce fastening bosses (100) formed on a front surface of a tub (56) to mount a balance weight (90). The washing machine comprises a tub (56) having a gasket coupling part (80) to which a gasket (50) is coupled, a plurality of fastening bosses (100) formed on a circumference about a central axis of the tub (56) to secure a balance weight (90), and a plurality of ribs (310) to reinforce the fastening bosses (100), wherein at least one of the ribs (310) formed in an outer direction of the tub (56) around each fastening boss (100) is thicker than the ribs (310) formed towards the central axis of the tub (56).

    摘要： A drum washing machine is provided. The drum washing machine includes a tub that stores wash water therein, a drum rotatably mounted within the tub, a motor mounted in a rear of the tub, the motor having a shaft to rotate the drum, a bearing housing inserted into the tub having a hollow portion, which allows the shaft of the motor to pass therethrough, formed in a center thereof, a bearing secured to the hollow of the bearing housing, and an outlet hole that discharges gas or moisture generated in the bearing and a portion adjacent to the bearing outside of the bearing housing. The drum washing machine so constructed has enhanced durability, because it includes the outlet hole provided in the bearing housing where the shaft rotates that prevents moisture or water from remaining in the bearing housing.

The drum-type washing machine includes a case formed with an opening part for receiving therethrough laundry to be washed, a door opening and closing the opening part, a tub mounted in the case to receive wash water, a drum rotatably mounted in the tub, and a path compensation unit disposed at an inner lower end of the tub to facilitate flow of fluid while the drum is rotating. According to this drum-type washing machine, the dehydration efficiency can be improved.
