摘要： A washing machine having a damper-supporter, comprises: an outer case having a receiving space therein; a tub installed in the outer case; a damper having one end connected to the tub so as to perform a relative motion; and a damper-supporter spaced from the outer case so as to be vibration-isolated therefrom, for supporting another end of the damper. Accordingly, vibration and noise can be reduced by preventing vibration of the tub from being transmitted to the outer case through the damper.

摘要： A foam sensor of a drum washing machine is constructed such that a pair of temperature electrode terminals and a foam electrode terminal are supplied with electricity by a single connector, and thus is able to sense an electrical connection by a signal change of the temperature electrode terminals, in a case where electrical connection of the foam electrode terminal is cut off, thereby preventing a false sensing of foam generation caused by electrical short-circuiting of the foam electrode terminal. Furthermore, the foam electrode terminal is provided integral with the connector, and the temperature sensor portion has a thermistor for sensing a temperature of washing water and temperature electrode terminals inserted into the connector, the thermistor and the temperature electrode terminals being connected by a cord, which makes installation easier.

摘要： Disclosed is a clothes dryer comprising a drum rotatably installed in a cabinet; a suction duct having a suction port for providing air inside the cabinet into the drum, and connected to the drum at one side of the drum; a suction fan arranged in the suction duct, for sucking air inside the cabinet through the suction port; and a suction guide extendingly installed from an outer circumferential surface of the suction port, for guiding air introduced to the suction duct. Thus, as the suction guide is installed at the suction port, it can be achieved to restrain a noise generation due to an air flow, to facilitate to cool a motor and to enhance an energy efficiency.

The method may include rotating a drum, measuring and storing a vibration level of a cabinet while increasing a rotational speed of the drum, and measuring the vibration level of the cabinet after the rotational speed of the drum reaches a target rotational speed and determining whether or not the vibration level of the cabinet is greater than a set value. The method may then include adjusting the rotational speed of the drum if the vibration level is greater than the set value so as to minimize vibration and resonance in a support surface on which the washing machine is positioned.
