    摘要: A firmware recovery system includes a baseboard management controller (BMC) module, a south bridge, a basic input and output system (BIOS) module, a multiplexer and a storage module. The BIOS module is connected to the BMC module by the south bridge and determines whether a firmware file of the BMC module is corrupt. The multiplexer selectively connects the BIOS module or the BMC module to the south bridge. The storage module stores a new firmware file. When the firmware file of the BMC module is corrupt, the BIOS module controls the multiplexer to select the BMC module to connect to the south bridge. The BIOS module reads the new firmware file from the storage module to recover the corrupt firmware file from the BMC module.

    摘要: A Universal Serial Bus (USB) flash drive includes an USB interface, a control unit, a storage unit, a timer, a logic circuit, and a quartz meter that includes a scale dial and a dial pointer. The control unit calculates a storage capacity difference between a current storage capacity and a previous storage capacity, and calculates a runtime of the dial pointer according to a time calculation algorithm. The control unit generates an enabling signal if the storage capacity difference is not equal to zero, and generates an interrupt signal when the runtime equals the time value. The logic circuit outputs a high voltage to the quartz meter to control the dial pointer to run around the scale dial according to the enabling signal, and outputs a low voltage to the quartz meter to control the dial pointer to stop running around the scale dial according to the interrupt signal.

    摘要: A data processing device acquires a first parameter value of a hardware component, and calculates a first prediction value of the first parameter using a prediction algorithm. If a difference of the first prediction value and the first parameter falls within a deviation range, the first parameter value is determined as a real value and is stored. Otherwise, the device acquires a second parameter value of the hardware component that follows the first parameter value, and calculates a second prediction value of the second parameter value. If a difference between the second prediction value and the second parameter value falls with a second deviation range, the first parameter value is determined as a real value and is stored. Otherwise, the first parameter value is determined as a false value and is abandoned.

    摘要: This disclosure relates to a compression dressing designed to provide moisture transport properties to a contact surface and compression therapy for patients with swelling due to various medical conditions. The compression dressing is minimally comprised of at least one layer of moisture transport fabric comprised of elastic fiber that exhibits a sufficient amount of elasticity to apply a compressive force to a body part when applied thereto. The compression dressing further provides one-way, active fluid management which can move fluid away from the skin. The compression dressing may also include at least one absorptive reservoir layer that is applied to the outer surface of the moisture transport fabric. This absorptive reservoir layer may be removed as needed without substantially disrupting the compressive force applied to a body part. The method for using the compression dressing to manage fluid movement and edema is also provided.

    摘要: A light-emitting diode (LED) control system and method sets a number of virtual LEDs according to a number of error events of a computing device. The system and method further assigns a priority level to each error event and a unique indication status of the error event. If more than one error event occurs to the computing device, each error event is indicated by a virtual LED by a unique indication status, however, only the error event having the highest priority level is synchronously indicated by a virtual LED and the physical LED.
