    摘要： A paper sheet conveyor feeds separate or bundled sheets of paper on edge along a feed path and uses a vibrating element having its upper surface covered with pile material having resilient bristles inclined from the vertical toward the direction of feed along the path. The tips of the bristles are flagged or split or bent transversely to the feed direction to support the bottom edges of the paper sheets on the tips of the bristles for feeding along the path as the bristles vibrate.

    摘要： The invention feeds replenishment bars into the stock tube of a screw machine to follow a preceding bar into a bar feeder mechanism. It includes resilient means for engaging the trailing end of the replenishing bar and urging it into the rear end of the stock tube; also, a bushing just ahead of the bar feeder has a through opening sized to admit only one of the bars to the feeder, and the bar entry end of the bushing has a concave surface funnelling down to the through opening to hold the replenishing bar until the trailing end of the preceding bar passes into the through opening.

    摘要： A bar excursion controller is applied to a multi-spindle screw machine having a bar feeder that uses a driven roller with spring-loaded flanges for straddling, squeezing and feeding the bars in time with the machine. The excursion controller is built on a base plate that is mounted concentric with the stock reel for indexing with the stock reel, and it carries a back-up plate for each bar of the machine. The back-up plates are mounted adjacent the bars and opposite the driven roller and are radially adjustable for normally clearing the bars by the amount of acceptable off-axis movement for the bars.

    摘要： A conveyor junction joins two or more vibrator-powered conveyor modules having feed surfaces covered with pile inclined toward the direction of feed. The modules are pivotally joined with their feed surfaces at approximately the same height and so that each module is free to vibrate. A circular transfer surface is disposed between the feed surfaces of the joined modules concentric with the pivotal joint, and the transfer surface has pile inclined toward the direction of feed of a receiving module.
