摘要： A disc drive includes a drive unit, a frame receiving the drive unit therein, a subframe pivotally mounted to the frame, a slider slidably mounted to the frame, and a buffer formed at an inner surface of the frame for absorbing vibrations of the subframe. The drive unit is fastened to the frame via a plurality of vibration-dampers. The subframe is used for raising and lowering of the drive unit. The slider is used for raising and lowering the subframe. The buffer and the slider cooperatively position the subframe in position during a loading operation.

The tilt adjusting mechanism includes a first part, a second part, and a third part. The tilt adjusting mechanism is rotatably mounted on the disc drive through the first part. The second part extends away from one end of the first part. The second part includes an eccentric hole engagingly receiving one end of said at least one guiding shaft. The third part extends away from the other end of the first part. A disc player having the tilt adjusting mechanism is also provided.

The cooperative meshing of the first cone gear, the transmission gear subassembly and the rack gives the optical pickup head feeding device a low drive transfer ratio for precise positioning of the optical pickup head.

The elastically deformable member for resiliently pressing a corresponding end of said guide shaft in said receiving chamber includes a pressing portion above the receiving chamber of the holding member and a fixing portion engageable with the holding member for attaching the deformable member to the holding member.
