    摘要: A slip-resistant eyewear system comprising a nose pad comprising a securing member configured to couple to a portion of an eyewear frame and a flap pivotally coupled to the securing member, wherein an angle formed between the securing member and the flap is an acute angle. Implementations of a flap-style nose pad may comprise a pocket configured to house a preexisting eyewear nose pad therein. Other implementations of the nose pad may be configured to adhere to a preexisting eyewear frame. Use of a higher durometer and material and a lower durometer material to form the nose pads allows for a custom fit to accommodate wearers of varying facial topography avoid slippage of the eyewear system.

    摘要: An anti-slip eyewear system comprising a nosepiece configured to couple to a bridge of an eyewear frame, the nosepiece comprising a core comprised of a first material and an outer layer at least partially surrounding or overlapping the core and comprised of a second material, the second material having a lower durometer than the first material, wherein the second material creates a plurality of Schallamach waves on an outer surface of the nosepiece when the outer layer of the nosepiece is in contact with at least a portion of a face of a user. The first material may have a durometer greater than about Shore 40A on the Shore A hardness scale and the second material may have a durometer less than about Shore 40A on the Shore A hardness scale.

First and second bows are coupled to first and second tension adjusters. A unitary eyewear retainer comprises a first end configured to couple to the first bow and a second end configured to couple to a second bow such that a tension is maintained on the unitary eyewear retainer when the unitary eyewear retainer extends around a back of a head of a user.
