    摘要: A frame comprises a front portion, connecting members, a first arm coupled to a first connecting member by a hinge, and a second arm coupled to a second connecting member by a hinge. The first and second connecting members are coupled to the front portion by hinges. The protective eyewear comprises: an eyeshield; a first sidearm that is pivotally connected to the eyeshield by a first primary pivotal connection that is located proximate a first major end of the eyeshield; and a second sidearm that is pivotally connected to the eyeshield by a second primary pivotal connection that is located proximate a second, opposing major end of the eyeshield, wherein at least a rearward portion of a second, rear part of each sidearm comprises a laterally-outward-and-downward-facing major surface that is a concave surface, wherein the primary pivotal connection of each sidearm is configured so that each sidearm can be pivotally moved between at least a first, lowered configuration and a second, raised configuration, and wherein the sidearms are configured so that when the protective eyewear is worn in combination with an earmuff-type hearing-protection apparatus and when both sidearms are in the second, raised configuration, the rearward portion of the rear part of each sidearm rests atop a junction between an uppermost portion of a compliant seal of an earmuff of the hearing-protection apparatus, and a side of a user's head.

In one aspect, a pair of foldable eyeglasses having multiple set of hinges is disclosed. The eyeglasses include a frame surrounding a pair of lenses, and a pair of temples each of which extending from an outer edge of the frame, and the eyeglasses are in an unfolded configuration when the eyeglasses is being worn by a user. The eyeglasses also include a horizontal hinge positioned on each temple for folding the pair of temples horizontally from the unfolded configuration toward the frame into a first folded configuration. The eyeglasses additionally include a vertical hinge positioned on each temple for folding the pair of temples vertically from the first folded configuration toward the frame into a second folded configuration.

    摘要: Protective glasses include a curved lens panel for protecting the eyes. Two side pieces have an inner end articulated on a helmet and an outer end articulated on the lens panel. The glasses are pivotable from a protective position to a stowed position. Each side piece includes a glasses arm and a glasses-carrying arm. The glasses arms are curved in the direction of the lens panel and adjoin the lens panel tangentially. The glasses arms have axes of articulation that are not aligned with one another. In the stowed position, the protective glasses are in a helmet and can be moved into, and out of, the stowed position using one hand, without length of the side pieces or tilt of the lens panel in relation to the side pieces being changed. One-handed actuation of the glasses is very advantageous in forestry work, in the industrial sector or for climbing purposes.

    摘要: The invention is for a glasses frame to lenses for a user's eye. The frame has a first and second lens holding portions adapted to each hold a lens, the portions having at least one hinge between them. A first arm extends from the first lens holding portion on an edge thereof distal from the hinge, and a second arm extends from the second lens holding portion on another edge thereof distal from the hinge. The glasses frame has an unfolded position whereby the first and second lens holding portions are extended on said hinge to enable location of the lenses in front of each eye and the arms extend backward from the frame to engage with a head of the user, and a folded position whereby the first and second lens holding portions are contracted about the hinge to lie toward or adjacent each other and the arms fold such that a free end of each folds towards the hinge to thereby capture and retain the glasses frame to an elongate object.
