    摘要: A RAID setting system and related method are used in a computer having at least a RAID controller for controlling the RAID controller to execute a corresponding operation of the RAID configuration according to a setting result. The system includes a database, a detecting module, a setting module and a processing module. The method includes storing operating flow data of a RAID configuration corresponding to the RAID controller in a database, scanning the RAID controller connected in the computer to select a specified RAID controller, providing a setting interface which can set parameters for the RAID configuration corresponding to the RAID controller, and invoking an operating flow data of the RAID controller according to a setting result so as to control the RAID controller to execute a corresponding operation of the RAID configuration. A setting operation of the RAID can be simplified and working efficiency can be enhanced as well.

    摘要: A stereographic network monitoring system is provided to display a stereographic representation of an abnormal unit in a controlled device monitored via a network, wherein the stereographic representation shows the abnormal unit and its relative position, so that a supervisor can be clearly informed the relative position of the component inside the controlled device and promptly take appropriate measures to remedy. This system includes a monitoring server, a database, at least a controlled device, a network unit and a display unit. The monitoring server is connected to the database and controlled device via the network unit. When the controlled device sends an abnormal message to the monitoring server, it can retrieve the device stereogram and basic data of the unit components of the controlled device for display in the displaying unit.

    摘要: A computer platform system control unit data programming control method and system is proposed, which is designed for use in conjunction with a computer platform, such as a network server, to provide the computer platform with a BMC (Baseboard Management Controller) data programming control function, and which is characterized by the utilization of the SMI (System Management Interrupt) of BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) for switching the BMC between normal mode and flash mode. This feature allows the proposed system, when implemented in a computer program, to be suited for use with different models of computer platforms having different hardware configurations and operating systems, which means that a single edition of the BMC data programming control program can be used on various different modes of computer platforms. This benefit allows the application to be more convenient and cost-effective to use than the prior art.

    摘要: A rack server is proposed that includes a rack case, at least a server, and at least an extended interface card. The rack case includes a front surface having a plurality of server slots for insertion of a plurality of servers, and a rear surface having a plurality of card slots corresponding to the server slots for insertion of a plurality of extended interface cards. The server is inserted into one of the server slots and has a rear end connected to a server connector. The extended interface card is inserted into one of the card slots and has a card connector for electrically connecting to the server connector of the server. Therefore, by interconnecting the card connector of extended interface card with the server connector of the server, the extended interface card can be connected to the rear end of the server and a serial relationship is formed such that the extended interface card does not occupy any space where the server slots are installed and a number of slots installed in a unit area will be increased. Meanwhile, manufacturing costs are correspondingly reduced with increasing expansions of the server.
