Abstract:
An organic light-emitting device comprising an anode, a cathode, and an emissive layer between the anode and cathode, wherein either the emissive layer is an oligo(phenylenevinylene) or derivative thereof is described. The device may further include a hole transport layer and/or an electron transport layer coupled with either the anode or cathode. Also described are displays employing such devices and a method of making such a device.
Abstract:
The invention disclosed relates to cross-linkable composites of boronic acid or a boronic acid derivative such as a boronate, and an organic or organo-metallic moiety having a functionality such as hole transporting, electron transporting and light emitting, to cross-linked composites and to methods for making same. Multi-layer materials and optoelectronic devices including such cross-linked composites are also disclosed.
