Abstract: The present invention relates to a burner module for a cooker and a cooker and a method for such a burner module. The burner module according to the invention comprises: a carrier with which the burner module can be placed as a unit on a worktop; an outlet for gas provided on the carrier; an inlet provided on the carrier for supplying gas; and control means provided between an inlet and the outlet for realizing a gas flame.
