摘要: A cooktop appliance and a gas burner assembly are provided. The gas burner assembly is positioned at a top panel and includes an annular burner body positioned at a top surface of the top panel. The annular burner body forms a central combustion zone, a plurality of flame ports at the central combustion zone, and an annular mixing chamber upstream from the plurality of flame ports to permit a fuel-air mixture to flow into the central combustion zone through the plurality of flame ports. An annular burner base forms a bottom wall of the mixing chamber and an annular burner head forms a top wall of the mixing chamber. A puck including a domed projection separably positioned at the top surface of the top panel and extending toward the central combustion zone.

摘要: A versatile grill apparatus capable of adapting its shape to accommodate different cooking methods. Conventional grills are often limited to specific heating configurations that heat the food from certain directions, necessitating multiple apparatus for diverse cooking techniques. This innovation addresses this limitation by offering electrical or gas grills with adjustable heating sections that can be repositioned to emit heat from different directions.
The grill features interconnected heating sections that can rotate independently to change the cooking configuration. In a gas grill, a flexible fuel delivery system, incorporating swivel joints, quick-release couplings, or similar mechanisms, ensures continuous fuel supply regardless of the heating section's position. This design provides enhanced flexibility and efficiency in food preparation, allowing users to achieve optimal cooking results with a single grill.

摘要: Cooktop appliances are provided. A cooktop appliance can include a manifold having a gas input; a first burner in fluid communication with the manifold through a first burner supply line having a first valve; and a second burner in fluid communication with the manifold through a second burner supply line having a second valve, the second burner arranged coaxially with respect to the first burner, wherein the second burner supply line comprises a primary line, a secondary line, and a sum line, the sum line providing a combined flow of gas from the primary line and the secondary line to the second burner, wherein the secondary line of the second burner comprises a third valve.

摘要: A cooking appliance has a multi-section cooking surface that is expandable to provide a larger depth cooking surface by slideably extending a moveable front burner section of the cooking surface. The cooking appliance includes a base section extending below the cooking surface, the base section providing structure and physical support for the cooking surface. The cooking appliance includes a multi-sectioned cooking surface having a stationary rear burner section and a movable front burner section. The stationary rear burner section includes at least one rear/back burner, and the moveable front burner section includes at least one front burner. The moveable front burner section translates/slides forward away from the stationary rear burner section to provide additional/larger separation spacing between the at least one rear burner and the at least one front burner. A block insert panel is inserted into the space created between the rear burner section and the extended front burner section.

摘要: Cooktop appliances are provided. A cooktop appliance can include a gas burner; a manifold having a gas input; a primary line extending between the manifold and the gas burner, wherein the primary line operates as a non-modulated minimum gas flow line when the cooktop appliance is in an automatic mode; a secondary line extending between the manifold and the gas burner, wherein a gas flow rate of the secondary line is controllable by a flow control valve; a primary valve in fluid communication with at least the primary line; and a control system including: a sensor configured to detect a temperature corresponding to the gas burner; and a controller regulating: (i) the flow control valve in response to the detected temperature to achieve a desired temperature, and (ii) the primary valve when the flow control valve is closed and the detected temperature exceeds the desired temperature.

摘要: A gas burner having a combustion chamber with a bottom and a circumferential wall. A plurality of fuel exit ports are disposed in the circumferential wall, and are directed generally inwardly toward the combustion chamber and upwardly from the bottom of the combustion chamber. The fuel exit ports are preferably directed inwardly at an angle that is slightly rotated from a central axis of the burner to create a swirling flame. A plurality of secondary air inlets extend through the bottom of the combustion chamber. An injector orifice is aligned with the central axis of the burner. The injector orifice is secured to the cooktop using a bracket, which has an orifice-securing surface, with two sidewalls extending therefrom and terminating in fastening flanges. The fastening flanges have asymmetrically arranged slots therein to receive tabs extending from the burner to ensure proper alignment of the burner and the injector orifice.
