摘要： The invention relates to automatic sheet feed equipment, particularly for use with microfilm aperture cards that permits ready manual insertion of a sheet into the equipment. The sheets are transported on a plate 12 bearing against a register edge 26 and are moved by engagement in the nip between a drive roll 27c and a counter roll 28c. The counter roll is loosely mounted for vertical movement above the plate 12 and the edge of the plate 12 opposite to the edge 26 is unrestricted so that sheets can easily be inserted in the direction of the arrow A. The rolls preferably have polished surfaces and are each chamfered at least on the side away from the edge 26.

摘要： An apparatus wherein charged sheets of electrophotographic paper are conveyed from a charger to an exposure position and from the exposure position to a liquid developer by a series of endless belts driven by rollers. To maintain the paper in contact with the belts during passage around a roller a guide sheet of polytetrafluorethylene is biassed towards the belts. The paper passes between the belt and the guide sheet with its charged, photoconductive layer contacting the guide sheet and its base layer contacting the belts.

摘要： An electrophotographic apparatus wherein charged sheets are conveyed from a liquid developer to a dryer by a pair of rollers of insulating material, suitably polyurethane. Each of these insular rollers is engaged by a stainless steel roller which is maintained at a predetermined electrical potential and thereby reduces the amount of electrical charge, picked up by the associated insulating roller, which is returned to a subsequent part of the sheet. The stainless steel rollers may be maintained at a high potential of the same polarity of the toner particles used in the developer, in which case there is a reduction in the number of particles, picked up by the insulating rollers, which is returned to the sheet.

摘要： The camera head of a planetary camera system is movably mounted on a frame of the system. Film members (e.g. aperture cards) are exposed in the camera head. A stationary film-processing station is mounted on the frame in a position remote from the camera head and is linked to the camera head by a light-tight extensible film member conveying means. Telescopic tubes containing endless conveyor belts of variable effective length are preferred for the conveying means.
