摘要： The invention is a drive-in pallet racking system for a large transportation vehicle like a railcar or truck trailer. The racking system includes a plurality of center posts which define two drive-through passageways along the length of the vehicle. Pallet-supporting rails are mounted on each side of the posts. One rail is mounted to the posts and the other is mounted on the sidewall opposite the posts. The rails are spaced apart so that a forklift can drive in between them. However, the spacing is sufficiently narrow so that the rails can support the edges of the pallet without any intermediate support.

摘要： A document shipping container assembly adapted to be coupled to a railroad car is disclosed. The document shipping container assembly includes a support member, a container, and a lid. The support member is attached to the railroad car and the document shipping container is attached to the support member. The bottom of the support member is shaped to mate with a curved Murphy End of a railroad car to position the container in a recessed location. The lid includes a circumferentially extending flange overlapping the container and the mating surface between the lid and the container. The seal between the container and the lid is watertight when the lid is closed. A latch permits the lid to be locked shut onto the container to prevent unauthorized persons from removing the documents therein. A non-repairable sealing member, such as a plastic strap, extends through the latch to provide an indication whether the documents have been tampered with. The lid is coupled with a spring-loaded hinge to the container to ensure that the lid automatically closes when released by a user. The entire shipping container assembly is constructed to be weather-resistant, and to ensure delivery of dry and intact documents.

摘要： A cryogenic refrigeration system for a container is selectively operable to maintain its cargo in frozen and non-frozen conditions. The system includes a cargo compartment defined by a floor, a pair of opposed side walls, a pair of opposed end walls, and a lower ceiling. A roof is located above the lower ceiling. Upper and lower compartments or bunkers are provided between the lower ceiling and the roof, and are separated by a fixed, non-porous upper ceiling. A plurality of openings extend through the lower ceiling for fluid communication between the lower compartment and the cargo compartment. Upper and lower cryogenic snow-forming devices are provided in the upper and lower compartments, with each snow-forming device having a coupling connecting it to a supply of cryogenic liquid. Conduits or passages are located in the walls and floor to convey the cryogenic snow and gas from the upper compartment and through the walls and floor in a manner that isolates the cryogenic snow and gas from the cargo compartment. Thermal insulation extends between and separates the conduits in the floor from the cargo compartment.
