摘要: A method of treating an aluminum-wheel surface for removing an alkaline material without damaging the aluminum surface to improve the adhesion of a coating to the aluminum base material. The method achieves a corrosion resistance equivalent to that obtained by treatment using chromic acid chromate containing hexavalent chromium, without adversely affecting the health of workers and the environment. The method includes a blasting process for blowing a casting material onto the aluminum-wheel surface. The casting material includes plastic particles ranging in size from 100 to 2000 μm and containing a thermosetting resin as the main ingredient.
