    摘要: The present technology relates to an image processing device and an image processing method which allow a deblocking filtering process to apply filtering appropriately. A pixel (p0i) of which the value is 255 (solid line) before a deblocking process changes greatly to 159 (dot line) after a conventional deblocking process. Therefore, a clipping process having a clipping value of 10 is performed in strong filtering, whereby the pixel (p0i) of which the value is 255 (solid line) before the deblocking process becomes 245 (bold line). Thus, a change in the pixel value occurring in the conventional technique can be suppressed as much as possible. This disclosure can be applied to an image processing device, for example.

The second lead wire detours the light emitting part to avoid being affected by heat.After the lamp is turned off, the temperature of base parts of the electrodes immediately falls, and much mercury can be collected in the vicinities of the base parts.

    摘要: A high-pressure mercury lamp including electrode assemblies and a discharge vessel (23) that is composed of: a main tube part (15) having a discharge space (13) inside; and a sealing part (17) connected to the main tube part. The electrode assemblies extend into the discharge space from and are hermetically sealed with the sealing part such that their tips face each other in the discharge space. The discharge space (13) is filled with mercury as light-emitting material, rare gas such as xenon, and halogen gas for halogen cycle. An electrode assembly is composed of an electrode part (27a), a metal foil (29a), and an external lead. The base part of an electrode inside the discharge space is provided with a liquid collecting coil (43) for holding mercury that gathers around the base part during a cooling period while lighting is off.

    摘要: Provided is a method for lighting a high pressure discharge lamp capable of increasing the life thereof. The lighting method is as follows. When the time elapse after lighting up the discharge lamp is within a predetermined condition (e.g. 5 minutes or less), constant current control is performed if the lamp voltage is lower than switching voltage (here, a first voltage value V1) and constant power control is performed to maintain the lamp power at a power value W1 if the lamp voltage is equal to or above the switching voltage. After the predetermined condition (5 minutes) is exceeded, the constant power control is performed by lowering the value of the switching voltage from the first voltage value V1 to the second voltage value V2. If the lamp voltage is equal to or above the switching voltage lowered, the lamp power is maintained at power value W1.
