摘要: A framed PV module rooftop and ballasted ground mount racking system by which the mounting structure also functions as a wire management system and operates as an electrical raceway that includes a plurality of North-South mounting structures, oriented in a North-South direction, each of the North-South mounting structures including a North-South open-air channel for receiving wires, and each of the North-South mounting structures configured for supporting a solar module at a selected tilt angle; a plurality of East-West mounting structures, oriented in an East-West direction, each of the East-West mounting structures including an East-West open-air channel for receiving wires, wherein the coupling of said North-South mounting structures to said East-West mounting structures forms a continuous, open-air, electrical raceway with intersections within an array for module connectivity.

摘要: An ophthalmic stimulator for temporarily constricting a pupil of an eye comprises an irradiation control system, to generate an irradiation control signal, an irradiation source, coupled to the irradiation control system, to generate an irradiation, and an irradiation delivery system, coupled to the irradiation control system, to receive the irradiation from the irradiation source, and to deliver a patterned irradiation to an iris of the eye, wherein the irradiation control system controls at least one of the irradiation source and the irradiation delivery system with the irradiation control signal so that the patterned irradiation causes a temporary constriction of the pupil of the eye, without causing a permanent constriction of the pupil.

摘要: An armor assembly for providing resistance to penetration by projectiles includes an impact surface or strike face layer featuring an organic resin composite into which multitudinous ceramic shapes are distributed, a secondary or transition layer to provide mechanical support to the strike face and distribute the imposed load over a wider bearing area, a spacer layer that facilitates reflection of stress waves in the assembly layers between the space and incident projectile, and a back surface that defines the space as well as intercepts any projectile or projectile fragments transiting the space so defined. To this basic assembly can be added components that increase deformation and deflection of incident projectiles, reduce transmitted stresses, or strengthen at least one of the layers.

摘要: A communication device is disclosed. The communication device has a first assembly including a controller, a first communication element, and a speed pay communication element. The controller is configured to use the first communication element to control an operation of a user-operated assembly. The communication device also has a second assembly including an electronics element configured to operate with a speed pay system. The second assembly is removably attachable to the first assembly. The controller, the speed pay communication element, and the electronics element are configured to operate with the speed pay system when the first assembly and the second assembly are attached to each other. The operation of the communication device with the speed pay system is disabled when the first assembly and the second assembly are detached from each other.
