摘要： Architecture for providing a compressed replacement media file to a mobile device is provided. The method comprises receiving a first media file of a first format. The first media file is then compressed to generate a second media file of a second format. A request may be received from a mobile device for the first media file and the second media file is transferred to the mobile device via the Internet. Content may be added to the first media file such that the second media file comprises both the added content and the first media file. An indication that the second media file has been played on the f media device may be received.

摘要： Architecture for playing audio content multiple audio sources of different types is provided. A processor is configured to locate the audio sources of different types that are each associated with a network address, and transmit data identifying the audio sources of different types to the mobile device. The mobile device is configured to generate a display of the data identifying the pluarlity of audio sources of different types and a user interface allowing a user to select one of the audio sources, and receive a user selection of one of audio sources. The processor, upon receiving the user selection from the mobile device, is configured to transmit the network address of the desired audio source to the mobile device. The mobile device, upon receiving the network address of the desired audio source, is configured to play streaming audio data from the desired audio source.

摘要： A method for providing a personalized radio experience on a mobile device is provided. The method comprises receiving an indication of a musical preference from a user of a mobile device. A song list is generated based at least in part on the musical preference. The song list comprises an identifier of a song associated with the musical preference. Header files associated with one or more radio broadcasts are scanned. A radio broadcast having the identifier in its header file is selected. A link associated with the radio broadcast is transmitted to the mobile device. The song list may be may be modified based on feedback received from the mobile device.
