摘要： A process for automatically treating a drain system to prevent or at least minimize clogging problems particularly in grease traps of the type provided in restaurants and other food preparation establishments. The process employs an apparatus which includes a valve for directing fresh water into the grease trap for pretreating the trap in preparation for the injection of bioactive liquid cultures by the pump. The liquid cultures liquify and digest contaminants in the grease trap which are flushed therefrom by fresh water. The apparatus is controlled by a system which cyclically operates the apparatus in accordance with a preferred operational sequence and at adjustably variable time periods.

摘要： Automatic treatment of a drain system is provided by the controlled injection of a bio-active liquid at established intervals into the drain system. A container of the treatment liquid is provided with a pump coupled between the container and the drain. Fluid level sensing means is located in the container and fluid temperature sensing means is located in the drain system. When the temperature is within range and the fluid level is sensed, the pump is periodically operated to inject a quantity of fluid directly into the drain system without operator control.

摘要： A method for producing an artificial denture comprising the production of a denture module having an assembly of prosthetic teeth with a hard U-shaped base bonded thereto and with a soft deflectably formable layer attached and adapted to be digitally formed into the human mouth whereupon it may subsequently be impression formed with an impression material comprising hard or soft liner material thereon so as to provide the conformations of a final fitting denture, and whereupon the denture thus formed conforms intimately to the edentulous areas of the human mouth. Then a first impression model is formed at one surface of the denture module, then a second impression model is formed at the other surface of the denture module in either order; then the aforementioned deflectably formable layer and impression material comprising said hard or soft liner are removed from said hard U-shaped base portion of the denture module and the hard U-shaped base remains imbedded in one of said impression models, while hard plastic denture base resins are cast against the other impression model and into bonding relation to said original hard U-shaped base to form an entire denture structure of hard character which have all of the geometry intimately to fit the edentulous area of the individual human mouth to which the original denture module was formed. It should be noted that within the context of this disclosure, that all forming methods are included such as compression moulding processes, pour fluid processes, and injection moulding processes and techniques, although diagrams presented herein relate only to compression moulding technique.

摘要： A means and method for producing custom artificial dentures comprising a pair of trays adapted loosely to fit edentulus areas of a patient's mouth and stringers of generally U-shaped configuration having arrays of teeth afixed therein; the stringers being placed in the trays with the teeth projecting through the U-shaped openings therein, one tray for the maxillary and another tray for the mandibular area; a bite relator of deformable material engaged between the arrays of teeth held by said trays and impression forming material in the U-shaped recesses of the trays contiguous with the gums of a patient's mouth whereby impression castings may be made from which edentulus ridge fitting portions may be made and whereupon the respective stringers of teeth may then be bonded to the respective mandibulary and maxillary denture portions so formed.

摘要： A disposable protector for toilet seats having a cover of paper or similar material with a center cut-out generally conforming to the opening in the seat. The cover has a retainer member which may be in the form of a flange or tab which engage the inner edge of the seat to temporarily secure the protector in place during use. The underside of the cover may also have a frictional material such as latex or a low-tack adhesive. The cover may be treated with a suitable anti-bacterial agnt and may be provided to the consumer in a dispenser or in individualized packages that may be conveniently carried by the user.

摘要： The disclosure relates to a method for producing artificial dentures comprising the preparation of a plurality of substantially identical generally U-shaped hard base denture elements and fixing teeth thereto and using one of the hard base elements with teeth thereon to produce a temporary denture with a soft layer thereon and formably fitting the soft layer to a patient's mouth; then placing impression formable material in the soft layer and inserting it in the patient's mouth to impression form the impression formable material so as to attain a model upon which dental stone molds are cast; then placing another one of said substantially identical hard bases with teeth attached thereto in one of the dental stone molds and subsequently casting a hard impressionable plastic material against the opposite side of said denture element from said teeth and allowing the last mentioned material to cure and bond to the said substantially identical hard base element to thereby form a hard structural denture which conforms to the patient to which the aforementioned formable layer was impression fitted by the first mentioned impression formable material.The disclosure also relates to a rubber-like shield which may be placed over the generally U-shaped hard base denture element and the teeth fixed thereto such that portions of the teeth and the opposite portion of the hard base are exposed and whereby the shield prevents dental stone from adhering to the teeth and the U-shaped base during the casting of the dental stone molds therearound and subsequently during the final casting of the final impression formable material in the molds against the U-shaped base opposite to the teeth fixed thereon.

摘要： Customized dentures are manufactured by first producing denture bases in one of a plurality of standard sizes each having sockets therein for receiving an array of artificial teeth. Next, an array of artificial teeth removably coupled together by means of a U-shaped appliance which maintains the occlusal aspects of the teeth is positioned in the sockets. Such denture bases which may be wax, uncured synthetic resin or a cured synthetic resin are then shipped and inventoried by a dentist. To fit a particular oral cavity, the dentist first makes an impression of the oral cavity and from that impression upper and lower models are casted. The dentist then selects a denture base having the artificial teeth positioned thereon in one of the standard sizes which most closely accommodates the models. The denture bases are then conformed to the surface contours of the models and the prosthetic teeth are secured in the sockets.
