Abstract: A system and method for an underground stormwater storage system which may comprise a pit, a structure, and a liner. The structure may be disposed within the center of the pit and surround by the porous backfill and wherein outlets are disposed on the crown of the structure. A liner may form the outer layer of the pit. A method for releasing stormwater may comprise capturing stormwater from a surface, containing the stormwater within a structure, releasing a volume of the stormwater from the structure and draining an additional volume of the stormwater from the crown of the structure from an outlet when the structure is capturing more stormwater than it is releasing.

Abstract: A stormwater treatment device may include a chamber having a floor and a wall; an inlet formed in the wall that receives stormwater into an inlet side of the chamber; an outlet formed in the wall that discharges stormwater from an outlet side of the chamber; an enhanced settling device positioned in the outlet side of the chamber; a flow diverter plate in a lower portion of the chamber; and an outlet control diverter positioned proximate to the outlet. Stormwater is received by the inlet in a first flow direction, flows from the inlet side to the lower portion of the chamber in a second flow direction, flows through the enhanced settling device to an upper portion of the chamber in a third flow direction, flows through the outlet control diverter in fourth flow direction, and is discharged by the outlet in a fifth flow direction.

Abstract: A stormwater treatment device may include a crossflow settling device having a treatment channel defined by a front baffle, a rear baffle, and a pairs angled plates provided at supplementary angles therebetween and disposed between the front baffle and the rear baffle, the front baffle having a treatment channel opening and the rear baffle having a treatment channel outlet. Under normal flow, stormwater flows into the inlet and into the inlet chamber, into the treatment channel via the treatment channel opening, into the outlet chamber via the treatment channel outlet in a crossflow pattern causing the sediment to fall out of suspension, and out of the crossflow setting device through openings at the bottom of the pairs of angled plates.

Abstract: A skimmer for use in a manhole includes a frame and cladding. The frame includes an adjustable arc having an adjustable overall length and including an arced member, a first side member and a second side member. The arced member has a first end and a second end opposite the first end and defining a curve therebetween. The first side member is slidably adjustable relative to a first end of the arced member and selectively coupled thereto in one of a plurality of predefined first side member positions. The second side member is slidably adjustable relative to a second end of the arced member and selectively couplable thereto in one of a plurality of predefined second side member positions. The cladding covers a substantially entirety of one side of the frame.

Abstract: A channel for fluid flow comprising a first unit and a second unit connected to each other. Abstract: The invention described herein is that of an outdoor drain filter useful for maintaining the operability of an outdoor drain despite the accumulation of debris that would otherwise obstruct the outdoor drain, resulting in flood prevention of surrounding areas. The outdoor drain filter of the present invention is placed above and around an existing outdoor drain or may be integral with a drain cover or drain reservoir. The outdoor drain filter comprises upper and side filtration means allowing the free flow of water therethrough. The outdoor drain filter further comprises a diverter comprising at least one air vent and at least one lateral pipe that defines a maximum water level to which water will accumulate around the outdoor drain before being diverted into the drain through the diverter. The outdoor drain filter may a manufactured unit or of modular construction.

Abstract: A fluid management system including an inlet configured to receive pre-processed fluid is provided. The system includes a filtering apparatus configured to remove contaminants from the pre-processed fluid. The filtering apparatus includes a plate having a first opening. A first manifold pipe is disposed on the plate and includes one or more perforations and a second opening at least partially aligned with the first opening. A second manifold pipe is disposed on the plate and includes one or more perforations. Filter media is disposed between the first manifold pipe and the second manifold pipe and is configured to separate the contaminants from the pre-processed fluid. The system also includes an outlet coupled to the second manifold pipe to receive processed fluid from the filtering apparatus.

In one implementation, the stormwater management crate assembly may include a top plate having a plurality of support column attachments a bottom plate, at least one intermediate plate having a plurality of support columns attachments and being located between the top plate and the bottom plate, and a plurality of support columns extending from the top plate through the at least one intermediate plate to the bottom plate. In one implementation, a stormwater management crate may include a lightweight intermediate plate configured to bear only lateral loads.
