    摘要: Apparatus and methods are disclosed for modifying video based on user input and or face detection data received with a mobile device to generate foreground regions (e.g., to separate a user image from background in the video). According to one disclosed embodiment, a method comprises receiving user input and/or face regions generated with a mobile device, producing an initial representation for segmenting input video into a plurality of portions based on the user input, where the initial representation includes probabilities for one or more regions of the input video being designated as foreground regions or background regions. Based on the initial representation, input video is segmented by designating one or more of the regions of the input video as foreground regions or background regions.

    摘要: Video sharing is described. In an embodiment, mobile video capture devices such as mobile telephones capture video streams of the same event. A video sharing system obtains contextual information about the video streams and uses that to form a video output from the streams, that output being for sharing by other entities. For example, the formed video provides an enhanced viewing experience as compared with an individual one of the input video streams. In embodiments the contextual information may be obtained from content analysis of the video streams, from stored context information and from control information such as device characteristics. In some embodiments the video streams of a live event are received and the output video formed in real time. In examples feedback is provided to video capture devices to suggest that the zoom, viewing position or other characteristics are adjusted or to achieve this automatically.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method for creating a correspondence between the local time of a first machine (B), having a first clock (HB), and that of a second machine (A), having a second clock (HA). The invention also relates to a method of synchronization between data recorded and date stamped by said first machine (B) with respect to the local time of said second machine (A). In order to make it more flexible and robust, this method does not comprise a synchronization of said clocks (HA, HB), but is based on the establishment of a correspondence ‘by intervals’ between the times that they indicate. In order to establish correspondence, a non-monotonic temporal reference may be formed by the clock of a synchronous bus connecting, at least temporarily, the two machines (and possibly other devices).
