There is provided an exceptionally practical rotary cutting tool allowing the life of the tool to be prolonged. The rotary cutting tool has a plurality of helically shaped swarf discharge flutes (2) formed on a periphery of a tool body (1) from a leading end towards a trailing end, and a peripheral blade (4) formed on an intersecting ridgeline of a rake surface (3) of the swarf discharge flutes (2) and the peripheral surface of the tool body (1). A back taper part (B), on which an outside diameter (D1) of the peripheral blade (4) and an inside diameter (D2) of the tool body (1) gradually decrease from the leading end of the tool towards the trailing end, is provided to the leading end of the tool body (1).

A process for preparing modified polyolefin particles which comprises dispersing cross-linked polyolefin particles and a polymerizable vinyl monomer capable of dissolving or swelling the cross-linked polyolefin particles in an aqueous medium, impregnating the cross-linked polyolefin particles with the vinyl monomer and polymerizing the vinyl monomer. The obtained modified polyolefin particles can provide a foamed article including uniform and fine cells and having excellent toughness, accuracy of demension, cushioning property, heat resistance and smooth and soft surface.

This clamping device (1) serves to secure the workpiece, and is provided with a first grip section (12) which is disposed on an inner surface of a frame body (11) and has a plurality of protrusions (123) that project inward; a second grip section (13) which is disposed on a different inner surface of the frame body (11) and has a plurality of protrusions (133) that project inward, said different inner surface facing the inner surface whereon the first grip section (12) is disposed; and a grip section driving section (14) which moves the first grip section (12) and the second grip section (13) in a direction approaching each other or in a direction moving away from each other.
