摘要： A system and method are provided that use visually distinguishable identifiers already associated with particular contacts or groups of contacts to selectively associate a particular contact or group with event notifications displayed in the ribbon. In this way, the user can, at a glance, not only be notified of a new event, but also determine the origin of the event notification to provide better context for determining whether or not they wish to access and view the new event or update or whether this can be deferred.
