Abstract: A steel material according to the present disclosure consists of, in mass %, C: 0.15 to 0.45%, Si: 0.05 to 1.00%, Mn: 0.05 to 0.30%, P: 0.030% or less, S: 0.0050% or less, Al: 0.005 to 0.100%, Cr: 0.30 to 1.10%, Mo: 0.40 to 2.00%, Ti: 0.002 to 0.020%, Nb: 0.002 to 0.100%, B: 0.0005 to 0.0040%, N: 0.0100% or less, and O: less than 0.0040%, with the balance being Fe and impurities, and has a yield strength of 862 MPa or more. In the steel material, a number density of Si oxides which have a major axis of 5.0 μm or more is 5/100 mm2 or less, and in a case where the yield strength is 931 MPa or more, the number density of the Si oxides is 5/200 mm2 or less.

Abstract: A hot-rolled steel sheet which has excellent rigidity along with high strength, excellent workability, and excellent LME resistance is provided. A hot-rolled steel sheet of the present embodiment consists of, in mass %, C: 0.040 to 0.120%, Si: 0.01 to 0.60%, Mn: 0.50 to 1.50%, P: 0.025% or less, S: 0.010% or less, Al: 0.010 to 0.070%, N: 0.0070% or less, Ti: 0.055 to 0.200%, and B: 0.0010 to 0.0050%, with the balance being Fe and impurities. In the microstructure of the hot-rolled steel sheet, an area fraction of bainitic ferrite is 85% or more and the dislocation density is 8.0×1013 to 100.0×1013/m2. The average equivalent circular diameter of Ti carbides in the hot-rolled steel sheet is 10 nm or less, and the average equivalent circular diameter of grains of the bainitic ferrite is 15 μm or less.

Abstract: Using an apparatus for manufacturing a thin steel sheet including the followings which are arranged in order: a continuous casting machine (1) for a thin slab having a slab thickness of 70 mm to 120 mm at a lower end of a mold; a holding furnace (2) that is configured to maintain a temperature of a cast slab (10) and/or heats the cast slab (10); and a rolling stand (3) by which finish rolling is performed, the casting speed of the thin slab is set to 4 to 7 m/min, the slab (10) is reduced at a rolling reduction of 30% or more by the reduction roll (4) after solidification is completed and when a center temperature of the slab is 1300° C. or higher, and the slab (10) is held at a temperature of 1150° C. or higher and 1300° C. or lower for five minutes or longer in the holding furnace (2).
