    摘要: The invention presents a method of manufacturing a multi-pitch screw having desired threads and pitches by rolling. A trace of general (even lead angle) spiral screw is formed by even pitch protrusions 610 and 620 of an existing rotating dies 61 and 62, and it is combined with a trace of stair step screw formed by stair step protrusions 632 of a rotating die 63 of uneven lead angle, and multi-pitch screw threads are formed efficiently. Herein, only one rotating die 61 of uneven lead angle is used, and screw threads are not flattened out by stair step protrusions of the plurality of rotating dies of uneven lead angles.

    摘要: There is provided a communication control method for a network including duplexed ring transmission lines and a plurality of communication controlling devices each accommodating a plurality of terminals and adapted to transmit data sent from any of the terminals and receive data over the ring transmission lines, the communication control method comprising the steps of: causing one communication controlling device to transmit monitoring cells simultaneously over the duplexed transmission lines, the monitoring cells each including a pass indication area for retaining a source address and identification information for identifying a passed communication controlling device; and causing another communication controlling device which receives the monitoring cells respectively from the duplexed transmission lines to relay and circulate the monitoring cells respectively over the duplexed transmission lines after writing in the pass indication area of each of the received monitoring cells data indicative of passage of said each monitoring cell. The communication control method improves the efficiency of the fault monitoring and fault reporting on the transmission lines of the ring LAN.

A flat die 4 includes linear ordinary screw threads 40a, and multipitch screw threads 40b consecutive to the ordinary screw threads 40a, slightly shorter in height than the ordinary screw threads 40a, with both side walls formed alternately and consecutively, alternating between a section departing from the central line 40c of screw threads and an approaching section along a central line 40c, and symmetrically to the central line 40c of screw threads. After forming the tacks of a constant lead angle screw on the outer circumference of a shaft-like blank piece by the ordinary screw threads 40a, tracks of a multipitch screw are formed by the multipitch screw threads 40b, and therefore the tracks of a multipitch screw varying in the force applied at the time of rolling can be formed easily.
