    摘要: A multi-material boss, configured for fastening of a fastener thereto, being a feature of a the cast part, comprising a boss cylinder, an augmenting cylinder, and a filler metal layer is provided. The boss cylinder is made of the same material as the die cast part having a first hardness, and has a first interior. The augmenting cylinder is made of an augmenting material having a second hardness, is fixedly secured in the first interior of the boss cylinder, and has a second interior defined by a second cylindrical shaped wall, a base rim, and a second opening. The second hardness is greater than the first hardness. The fastener is fastened to the multi-material boss via the second opening of the augmenting cylinder having the higher liquidus temperature and greater hardness.

    摘要: The sealing device 100 of a container 1 is provided with an inner plug 10 and an upper closure 20. The inner plug 10 has a separation part 12 for forming an opening by separation. A first screwing part 51 for attachment of the upper closure 20 is provided between the inner plug 10 and the upper closure 20. The upper closure 20 has an inner cylinder part 20c which is a support part catching a separation part 12 by a second screwing part 52 in opening the plug and separating the separation part 12 from the inner plug 10. The second screwing part 52 is in a reverse thread relation with respect to the first screwing part 51 and has a barb-shape which facilitates pushing the separation part 12 into the inner cylinder part 20c rather than withdrawing the separation part from the inner cylinder part 20c.

    摘要: An externally threaded fastener is captivated by a component that includes an opening. The externally threaded fastener includes a thread and a non-threaded shaft. The opening includes a major diameter and a minor diameter. The minor diameter includes a first diameter portion, a second diameter portion, and orthogonal portions that connect the first diameter portion and the second diameter portion. To captivate the externally threaded fastener with the component, the externally threaded fastener is positioned within the component opening and the externally threaded fastener is angled relative to an axis of symmetry of the opening in order to engage the threads of the externally threaded fastener with the component opening until the non-threaded shaft is fixed against at least two planes of the component by the first diameter portion of the minor diameter.

    摘要: The present invention provides a structure for omitting washers to reduce the number of parts, and keeping the fitting of two members fastened together even when the washers are omitted. The structure includes: a first member having a first screw hole; a second member facing the first member, having a second screw hole larger than the first screw hole, and threaded in a direction opposite to the first screw hole; and a fastener. The fastener includes, along a longitudinal direction: a first screw section having a diameter corresponding to the first screw hole; a second screw section between the first member and the second member, having a diameter corresponding to the second screw hole, and threaded in a direction opposite to the first screw section; a neck at least partially located in the second screw hole; and a head larger in the longitudinal direction than the second screw hole.
