Abstract: An engine cover removably secured to the cylinder head of an internal combustion engine for housing suction and exhaust valves and a valve operating mechanism is provided with an arm which is pivotally connected to a stationary support located close to one side of the engine so that the cover can be rotated or shifted in the lateral direction.
