Abstract:
A flat display apparatus includes a display unit; a housing configured to accommodate the display unit; a support member configured to support the housing; and a cooling device configured to radiate heat of a heating element which is mounted in the housing, wherein the cooling device includes a first far infrared ray transfer member which is thermally connected to the heating element in the housing and a second far infrared ray transfer member which is thermally connected to an external portion of the housing at a rear surface side, wherein a radiating surface of the first far infrared ray transfer member and an absorbing surface of the second far infrared ray transfer member are disposed to oppose each other with the housing interposed therebetween, and wherein heat radiated from the first far infrared ray transfer member is radiated at both plane surface of the second far infrared ray transfer member.
Abstract:
A display apparatus is provided which includes a display panel, a signal board for processing an image signal used in an image display, and a power source board for supplying power from a power source to the signal board and the display panel. The signal board and the power source board are disposed in a horizontal direction relative to the display panel, and a projection portion, being disposed higher above a surface of the power source board than a circuit element of the power source board and not being connected with a member opposing to a mounting side of the circuit element, is provided on the surface of the power source board where the circuit element is mounted.
Abstract:
A projection type display apparatus includes a housing having a first side having an air intake opening and a second side having an air exhaust opening, a light source for supplying light, and a light valve device which modulates the light output from the light source. A centrifugal fan is associated with the air intake opening so as to draw air from the air intake opening. A first ventilation path is coupled with the air intake opening so as to lead air flow from the air intake opening toward a lower portion of the light valve, and a second ventilation path is formed from the lower portion of the light valve to an upper portion of the light valve. An exhaust fan is associated with the air exhaust opening so as to draw out air flowing from the second ventilation path through the air exhaust opening.
Abstract:
An optical equipment having a discharge lamp for supplying light and a light valve device for projecting the light from the equipment having an air intake opening arranged on one side of the equipment. A ventilation device is associated with the air intake opening so as to draw in air from outside of the equipment through the air intake opening and a ventilation path arranged so as to extend from an outlet of the ventilation device continuously. The ventilation path includes a partition member proximate to an outlet of the ventilation device and air flow through the ventilation path is divided into a plurality of air flows by the partition member so as to cool different parts of the light valve device respectively.
Abstract:
An optical equipment having a discharge lamp for supplying light, and first, second and third light valves for projecting the light from the equipment, having an air intake opening arranged on one side of the equipment, a ventilation device associated with the air intake opening so as to draw in air from outside of the equipment through the air intake opening and a ventilation path arranged between an outlet of the ventilation device and the first, second and third light valves. The ventilation path includes a plurality of partition members which divide the ventilation path into first, second and third air flow paths so as to cool the first, second and third light valves respectively by air from the ventilation device.
Abstract:
A display optical unit and apparatus in which the optical axis of a projection lens is shifted from the optical axis of an illumination unit and light splitter. The projection lens is attachable and detachable in a direction in which the optical axes are shifted from each other. A light valve or a polarizer is cooled by cooling winds blown by a cooling device to the light valve or polarizer through a plurality of wind supply openings are arranged in directions different from one another and within the range of 45 degrees to 315 degrees so as to enable cooling of the display optical unit.
Abstract:
In optical equipment, such as a liquid crystal projector, a discharge lamp supplies light through a light valve device to project a light beam on a screen. A cooling system is provided to cool the light valve device, including a ventilation device, such as a centrifugal fan, for drawing in air through an air intake opening in the case of the optical equipment and an air flow path for supplying the drawn in air to the light valve device along plural paths. For this purpose, guide members are provided in the air flow path to divide and direct the air flow to individual parts of the light valve device along the plural paths.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an information providing system. More particularly, this invention relates to an information management apparatus capable of reliable management of distributed information and an information providing system employing the same information management apparatus. The information management apparatus comprises a main information reproducing means for reproducing main information recorded in a given recording medium; and a reproduction management means for managing the main information reproducing means for reproducing the main information. The present invention provides a receiving means provided with a means for recording distributed information and control information limiting the number of main information reproducing cycles on a recording medium, and a main information reproducing means provided with a reproduction disabling means for limiting the reproduction of main information.
Abstract:
A tape cassette which can maintain stably the accuracy of the reference planes for determining the height of the tape cassette and which allows enhancement in accuracy of positioning, height positioning reference planes being provided inwardly a specified distance apart from an outside casing surface of the tape cassette such that the reference plane for determining the height of the tape cassette relative to the apparatus is not provided on the outside casing surface of the tape cassette, thus the reference planes remain free from contact with any mechanism for loading the tape cassette or with any foreign matter in transport, thus the reference planes can be kept free from damage.
Abstract:
A cassette transport configuration provides a cassette insertion slot for introducing a cassette cartridge, guide rails for guiding and positioning each cassette cartridge and a plurality of cassette detecting elements for detecting the correct positioning of each cassette. The detecting elements are spaced apart on an upper inner portion of the insertion slot.
