The water control paneling may be fabricated with an omnidirectional relief pattern formed on its back surface. The relief pattern spaces the vented and water control paneling away from a structure to which it is secured, thereby providing an omnidirectional drainage plane between the back surface of the paneling and the structure. The omnidirectional drainage plane provides an unimpeded ventilation and drainage path of water and/or water vapor.

摘要: A three dimensional scaffold formed of mesh, or semi-porous material is designed to be inserted into and to surround an opening in the exterior structure of a building to receive a fenestration product such as a door, a vent, a window and a skylight. The three dimensional scaffold is pre-formed into three-dimensional shapes that include corners, returns, back-dams, and optional head flaps that provide a scaffold and backing for the application of a fluid applied water/weather-proofing material. The separate fluid applied waterproofing/weatherproofing may be applied by spray, brush or roll and can be asphalt, rubber, plastic or other fluid applied material. The scaffolding may be formed out of mesh, or other semi-porous fiberglass, metal, plastic, synthetic or other material that can be formed into three dimensional shapes. When combined with a fluid applied weather/waterproofing, the scaffolding provides a superior, continuous, reinforced weather/water-proofing system to protect openings and fenestrations in buildings.

摘要: A prefabricated flashing product for an opening in an exterior surface of a structure includes a generally planar flange shaped to conform to the exterior surface, the flange extending outwardly from an entire perimeter of an aperture therein that corresponds to the opening, and a return that seals to the flange about the aperture and extends substantially perpendicularly therefrom toward an inward direction of the opening. The flange and the return are monolithically formed of a waterproof material. A method of integrating a fenestration product into an opening of an exterior surface of a structure includes inserting the flashing product described above into the opening, and inserting the fenestration product at least partially into the aperture of the flashing product.

摘要: A expandable fenestration flashing product for an opening in an exterior surface of a structure includes a generally planar unitary flashing shaped to conform to the exterior surface, the flashing configured to extend outwardly from an entire perimeter of fenestration, and an inner portion configured to flexibly seal to the inner surface of the fenestrations. The expandable fenestration flashing product is formed as a unitary structure of a waterproof, expandable material. A method of integrating an expandable fenestration flashing product into an opening of an exterior surface of a structure includes securing the expandable fenestration flashing product described above onto the exterior of a structure about the fenestration, and pressing and securing the fenestration product at least partially into the fenestration.
