摘要： A storage device assembly includes a storage device, a bracket and a securing member. The storage device defines a first securing hole. The bracket includes a sidewall with an opening. The securing member is attached to an outside of the sidewall and includes an actuating end, a securing end, and a pivot portion formed between the actuating end and the securing end. The actuating end includes a ridge portion. The pivot portion is pivotally attached to the sidewall. The storage device abuts the actuating end of the securing member to force the securing end to pivot toward the sidewall and engage the first securing hole, and the actuating end extends through the opening and to be pressed by the storage device when located in the bracket.

The rear wall has two clipping portions (526) and a perpendicular portion (52). The retaining plate includes an end (22) abutting on the perpendicular portion of the rear wall of the chassis. The mounting apparatus includes a mounting strip (11), and a mounting bracket (13) resisting on the end of the retaining plate. The mounting strip includes an elongated main body (12) with a handling portion (127) formed in the middle thereof and two arms (15) extending from two ends of the main body for engaging with the clipping portions respectively. The mounting strip abuts on the mounting bracket.

Each of the securing members includes an actuating end, a securing end engaged with the storage device securing hole, and a pivot portion formed between the actuating end and the securing end that is pivotally attached to the bracket sidewall. A spring member is secured to the sidewall of the bracket between the two securing members. The spring member includes two resilient arms biased against the two securing members respectively.

The rotating member includes a positioning pin. A data storage device is received in the drive bracket. The data storage device defines a locking hole in alignment with the through hole of the side plate. The cover is mounted on the chassis to cover the opening of the chassis. The cover abuts the rotating member so that the positioning pin is inserted in the through hole and the locking hole to secure the data storage device in the drive bracket of the chassis.

The securing member includes a securing arm having an operating portion and a securing portion, and an elastic driving portion connected to the operating portion. A free end of the driving portion resiliently abuts against the sidewall to apply an elastic force onto the operating portion in a direction away from the sidewall and onto the securing portion in a direction toward the first sidewall. The securing portion extends through the sidewall of the mounting bracket to engaging with the electronic device.

摘要： A mounting device for a data storage device has a retaining hole defined in a side surface thereof. The mounting device includes a bracket for receiving the data storage device, and a retaining member rotatably attached to the bracket. The bracket includes a sidewall and a bottom wall. A first elastic piece is formed on the sidewall. A positioning tab extends towards the side surface of the data storage device from a free end of the first elastic piece. The retaining member includes a first pressing portion. The first pressing portion presses the free end of the first elastic piece towards the data storage device. The positioning tab on the free end of the first elastic piece inserts into the retaining hole of the data storage device for mounting the data storage device.
