    摘要： A retaining device for a PCI card (30) includes a chassis (50), a retaining plate (20) configured for retaining the PCI card, and a mounting apparatus (10). The chassis has a rear wall (52). The rear wall has two clipping portions (526) and a perpendicular portion (52). The retaining plate includes an end (22) abutting on the perpendicular portion of the rear wall of the chassis. The mounting apparatus includes a mounting strip (11), and a mounting bracket (13) resisting on the end of the retaining plate. The mounting strip includes an elongated main body (12) with a handling portion (127) formed in the middle thereof and two arms (15) extending from two ends of the main body for engaging with the clipping portions respectively. The mounting strip abuts on the mounting bracket.

    摘要： A mounting apparatus for an electronic device includes a mounting bracket for receiving the electronic device and a securing member pivotally attached to the mounting bracket. The mounting bracket includes a sidewall. The securing member includes a securing arm having an operating portion and a securing portion, and an elastic driving portion connected to the operating portion. A free end of the driving portion resiliently abuts against the sidewall to apply an elastic force onto the operating portion in a direction away from the sidewall and onto the securing portion in a direction toward the first sidewall. The securing portion extends through the sidewall of the mounting bracket to engaging with the electronic device.

    摘要： A mounting device for a data storage device has a retaining hole defined in a side surface thereof. The mounting device includes a bracket for receiving the data storage device, and a retaining member rotatably attached to the bracket. The bracket includes a sidewall and a bottom wall. A first elastic piece is formed on the sidewall. A positioning tab extends towards the side surface of the data storage device from a free end of the first elastic piece. The retaining member includes a first pressing portion. The first pressing portion presses the free end of the first elastic piece towards the data storage device. The positioning tab on the free end of the first elastic piece inserts into the retaining hole of the data storage device for mounting the data storage device.

The first side panel includes a blocking member (533) capable of abutting the securing bracket and a securing piece (531) received by the securing bracket. The second side panel includes a tab (555). The securing bracket is pivotably mounted to the computer case about the securing piece and the securing bracket is capable of moving between a first position and a second position. The tab is engaged with the securing portion in the first position and is not engaged with the securing portion in the second position.

    摘要： A mounting apparatus is used to secure a disk drive, which defines a mounting hole therein. The mounting apparatus includes a bracket and a mounting member. The bracket is configured for receiving the disk drive therein. A through hole is defined in the bracket. A locking tab is formed on the bracket. The mounting member includes two arms and an operating portion. One end of each of the arms is pivotably secured on the bracket so that the mounting member is pivotable relative to the bracket, and the other end thereof connects with the operating portion. A positioning portion is formed on the operating member. The operating portion is capable of engaging with the locking tab of the bracket for inserting the positioning portion into the mounting hole of the disk drive via the through hole of the bracket.

The bracket includes a pair of side panels for receiving the disk drive therebetween. A cutout is defined in each side panel in a front portion thereof. The securing member includes a handle and a pair of cantilevers extending from opposite ends of the handle. The handle includes a base body and a pair of arms extending from opposite ends of the base body to connect the pair of cantilevers. Each arm includes a first bent portion protruding outwardly from the base body, and a second bent portion protruding inwardly from the first bent portion. A resilient protrusion is formed on the second bent portion for inserting in the cutout.

    摘要： A retaining member (50) is used for locking a drive (30) within a housing. The retaining member includes a drive, a housing and a pair of wire members (51) and a pair of latch members (53). The wire members are formed of resilient material and are attached to opposite sides of the drive. The latch member includes a securing portion (531) and a flexible locking portion (533). The locking portion extends from the securing portion and away from the drive. A locking tab (5331) is formed on the locking portion that engages the housing. Each wire member helps secure one securing portion to the drive with one end thereof.
