    摘要: The exhaust ejector nozzle has a tubular wall defining an exhaust flow passage leading to an outlet plane, and a de-swirl cascade including a plurality of circumferentially interspaced fins each having a first end connected to the wall adjacent the outlet plane and a second end extending into the exhaust flow passage. The de-swirl cascade can maintain the pumping action of the ejector in high swirl exhaust conditions.

    摘要: The present invention includes a gas turbine engine exhaust centerbody comprising a forward portion having at least one flap at a downstream end thereof to induce a local low pressure zone in the exhaust gas flow without significantly impeding it, a tailcone partially inserted into the forward portion so that at least part of the at least one flap overlaps a portion of the tailcone, a centerbody cavity containing gas at a pressure higher than the local low pressure, and at least one opening between the forward portion and the tailcone adjacent to and upstream of one of the local low pressure zones and providing fluid communication between the cavity and the exhaust gas flow. A ventilation flow out of the centerbody cavity through each opening is induced by a positive difference between the pressure of the gas in the centerbody cavity and the low pressure of the adjacent zone.

    摘要: A structural system comprising a plurality of tie elements (3) defining the base perimeter of a house, load-bearing metal columns (5) mounted thereon, and a continuous inwardly-open recess extending along the full length of the elements and receiving horizontal reinforcements (18, 19) that form an unbroken chain around the edges of the base. Anchoring reinforcements (12) extend away from the foundation and curve through the elements and along said recess, and hooks (15) are hung from an inwardly projecting portion (14) in such a way that the curved ends of the hooks are located in said recess. The hooks, the horizontal reinforcements and the anchoring reinforcements are all intended to be embedded in concrete cast in the recess. The system is particularly useful for building earthquake-proof single-family dwellings.
