摘要： A fluid dispensing apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes a fluid container defining a fluid cavity. A manifold assembly is mounted over a container bunghole. A tube assembly including a fill tube extends into the fluid cavity. Keyed couplings are mounted on the manifold assembly. One of the couplings is in communication with the fill tube and another coupling is in communication with the cavity. A pressure relief valve is mounted adjacent the manifold assembly. Tamper evident assemblies are provided on the manifold assembly for determining if the fluid container has been opened.

摘要： A pipe coupling is disclosed. The coupling includes a pair of hub members and a pair of coupling members surrounding the hub members. A plurality of projections extend outwardly from the coupling member and are received in receiving recesses in the other coupling members. Relative rotation of the coupling members moves the projections behind locking flanges into a locking position. A pivotally mounted lever on each connecting member is received by a locking recess on the other connecting member when in the locking position.

摘要： A security and safety latch system for fluid couplings particularly for fluid couplings utilizing rotatable valves wherein connection and disconnection of the coupling parts is by relative rotation of the parts and the valves are rotated between open and closed positions by exterior manually operated handles. The coupling parts and the valve handles are provided with interfering surfaces which prevent the parts from being relatively rotated and disconnected until both coupling valves are closed. Further, the valve handles are provided with security latches which permit the handles to be locked in the closed position, and prevent the valve handles from being locked in the valve open position.

摘要： A coupling fitting consisting of male and female parts wherein connection is achieved merely by axially inserting the male into the female part. Latching is produced by a plurality of resilient fingers mounted on the female part engaging with an annular shoulder formed on the male part, and release of the fingers is achieved by an axially displaceable sleeve permanently mounted on the male part displaceable to a release position engaging the fingers and removing the fingers from the shoulder permitting the male part to be removed from the female part. The release sleeve may be of a configuration to discourage tampering and uncoupling, or may include a knob to facilitate manual actuation.

The fitting includes a tubular nipple having a helical projection upon which the hose inner tube is threaded, and a socket crimped upon the hose supported upon the nipple includes serrations for compressing the hose at predetermined locations. The nipple configuration aids in maintaining the hose upon the nipple in a fluid tight manner, and a socket tang receiving groove defined in the nipple axially maintains the socket in predetermined relationship to the nipple.

摘要： A no-spill fluid security system for couplings for use with fluids producing environmental impact wherein the coupling permits unidirectional flow for consumer use and bidirectional flow to permit the refilling of containers with specially designed mating coupling parts. The primary coupling part includes a valve located adjacent the primary part end to prevent spillage and a normally operative check valve prevents fluid flow into the primary coupling part while a secondary coupling part of special construction opens the normally closed check valve permitting unidirectional flow through the primary part. Pressure relief means are incorporated into the primary part to permit trapped fluids within an uncoupled primary part to be bled into the associated receptacle upon a predetermined pressure existing to prevent spillage.

The body includes an orifice having a valve element movable between open and closed positions by a sample collecting receptacle wherein one hand operation is readily achieved. The valve element includes a proboscis suitable for piercing the sample receptacle diaphragm, and a spring produces a positive biasing force on the valve element toward the closed position.
