Abstract:
A flexible skateboard may include a pair of direction casters mounted for steering rotation on a flexible skateboard, twistable for propulsion. One or more vertical wall supports may be provided to resist bowing. Centering spring arrangements including range or rotation limitations such as hard stops may be included. One or two dual wheel assemblies may be exchanged for the single wheel assemblies for ease or riding or learning how to ride. One piece skateboard bodies may be formed by rigidly connecting together multiple pieces of the same or similar wooden or plastic molded parts to form a bridge like connecting member having increased structural rigidity and strength for its weight.

A flexible skateboard may include a pair of direction casters mounted for steering rotation on a twistable one piece skateboard with a multi-arm spring return assembly using pivoting stops associated with the wheel fork and non-pivoting stops mounted to the skateboard. Centering spring arrangements including range or rotation limitations such as hard stops are included. One or two dual wheel assemblies may be exchanged for the single wheel assemblies for ease or riding or learning how to ride. One piece skateboard bodies are formed by rigidly connecting together multiple pieces of the same or similar plastic molded parts to form a bridge like connecting member having increased structural strength for its weight.
Abstract:
A flexible riding board may include a front fork assembly for pivotal rotation about a front axis, the front fork assembly including a single front wheel mounted for rolling rotation about a front axle offset from the front axis; a rear fork assembly for pivotal rotation about a rear axis including a single rear wheel mounted for rolling rotation about a rear axle offset from the rear axis; and a flexible, one piece molded plastic platform having a neutral plane and supported by the front fork assembly with the front axis at a first acute angle to the neutral plane and supported by the rear fork assembly with the rear axis at a second acute angle to the neutral plane, the platform twistable by a rider to pivot the rear wheel about the rear axis so that the riding board is propelled in a forward direction, wherein the front fork assembly is pivotable about the front axis by the rider to steer the riding board.
Abstract:
A skateboard may include a pair of foot support boards connected by a torsion bar connecting element, a torsion bar cover tube mounted to the foot support boards and surrounding at least a portion of the torsion bar connecting element and an outer tube mounted for rotation around the torsion bar cover tube in response to contact with an obstacle. One or more bushings supporting the outer tube on the torsion bar cover for rotation. The skate board may include a tube mounted for rotation on a connecting element between the foot support areas. A method of skateboarding may include providing a skateboard having a longitudinal axis running between a pair of foot support areas and providing a tube mounted for rotation about the longitudinal axis between the foot support areas in response to contact with an obstacle.
Abstract:
A hanging basket has a basket, multiple suspension lines and multiple basket connectors connected respectively to the suspension lines. The basket has a connecting ring formed around an edge and multiple mounting holes formed through a sidewall. Each basket connector has a lip hook formed on a wall, a first connecting part formed on another wall and a second connecting part formed on the lip hook. The lip hooks of the basket connectors and the connecting ring of the basket selectively hook each other. The first connecting part is connected with the second connecting part through a corresponding mounting hole of the basket. Therefore, no matter how heavy an article being mounted in the basket is, the basket is not detach from the suspension assembly even though the hanging basket hangs in high places and sways or bumps other hanging baskets or objects.

Abstract:
The present invention provides a turbine wheel with locally curved trailing edge blade tips on the blades of the turbine wheel. The locally curved trailing edge may increase the blade vibration mode natural frequency which may in turn result in longer blade fatigue lifetimes. It may also eliminate vortex shedding. Methods for increasing the blade vibration mode natural frequencies using the turbine wheel of the present invention are also provided.
Abstract:
The invention is directed to nonpeptide substituted benzodiazepines of Formula I, wherein A, X, n, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, a and b are as described in the specification, which are useful as vasopressin receptor antagonists for treating conditions associated with vasopressin receptor activity such as those involving increased vascular resistance and cardiac insufficiency. Pharmaceutical compositions comprising a compound of Formula I and methods of treating conditions such as hypertension, congestive heart failure, cardiac insufficiency, coronary vasospasm, cardiac ischemia, liver cirrhosis, renal vasospasm, renal failure, cerebral edema and ischemia, stroke, thrombosis, or water retention are also disclosed.
Abstract:
A substrate processing system has a housing that defines a process chamber, a gas-delivery system, a high-density plasma generating system, a substrate holder, and a controller. The housing includes a sidewall and a dome positioned above the sidewall. The dome has physically separated and noncontiguous pieces. The gas-delivery system introduces e a gas into the process chamber through side nozzles positioned between two of the physically separated and noncontiguous pieces of the dome. The high-density plasma generating system is operatively coupled with the process chamber. The substrate holder is disposed within the process chamber and supports a substrate during substrate processing. The controller controls the gas-delivery system and the high-density plasma generating system.
