The mold includes a moldbase and a cavity; the method comprises the steps of creating a plurality of cavity meshes for the cavity, automatically creating a plurality of uniform or adaptive moldbase meshes for the moldbase, and determining the relationship between the cavity meshes and the moldbase meshes. Based on the relationship, a numerical method is applied to calculate the temperature distributions of the cavity and moldbase in the mold cooling process.
