    摘要： An axillary thermometer for measuring the temperature of the patient is provided. The axillary thermometer is of generally arcuate shape permitting it to conform to a patient's upper arm when temperature measurements are being administered. The probe of the thermometer is shaped such that it fits snugly and comfortably in the axillary region of the patient and includes a temperature sensor positioned about the probe for obtaining the most accurate measurements. The arcuate design and probe configuration of the axillary thermometer enhances the temperature measuring process in the axillary region.
