摘要: This invention relates to carbon black obtained from an aqueous suspension. A practically water-free carbon black is obtained from aqueous suspensions by mixing the suspension with liquid low-boiling hydrocarbons, then expanding the mixture in a vessel to evaporate the hydrocarbons, then drawing off separately the hydrocarbon vapors carrying the carbon black and the remaining liquid aqueous phase from the vessel, and separating the carbon black from the hydrocarbon vapors.
